Most people think it 's improper to spank children, so I have tried other methods to control my kids when they have one of 'those moments.' One that I found effective is for me to just take the child for a car ride and talk. Some say it's the vibration from the car, others say it's the time away from any distractions such as TV, Video Games, Computer, IPod, etc. Either way, my kids usually calm down and stop misbehaving after our car ride together. Eye to eye contact helps a lot too. I've included a photo below of one of my sessions with my son, in case you would like to use the technique. Sincerely, Your Friend

hi everyone. felt like making a somewhat nostalgic thread for all you more "vintage" riders out there, about the various tips and tricks you learnt to use when it wasn't as easy as ordering a spare part from your dealer and you had to make do with it or mend it. these include tips such as: - Cutting base gaskets from cereal box cardboard or .20 gasket paper. - Rubbing half a potato on the inside of your visor to help prevent it steaming up. - heating up the spark plug before-hand to help start your bike if it had a weak magneto any other tips/tricks? Steve

This is starting to piss me off now. Last sunday i lost my phone whilst walking the bike back from hungerford after it ceised up. then during the week i lost both the remote for my home cinema system and my TV, so my home cinema system can't be adjusted (no buttons on the unit itself) and my TV is stuck on PC input mode. and NOW ive come to book my theory test and ive lost my wallet, which has £30 cash, my driving licence, bank card and a few other bits in it. this is fucking rediculous. dam you gremlins, give me my stuff back rant over

Hi all. I’ve got something on my mind and I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do. A few regulars on here are acquainted with me through the Forum, but you don’t have any direct, embarrassing contact with me. Most of you tend to be experienced and mature, so I thought it best to run this past you first. Ok, deep breath… For some time now I've suspected that something is going on with the Missus. A few of the usual clues – The phone rings, I answer, no-one there. Every Thursday she goes out to play Bingo with “the girls”, but I’ve found out from one of her friends, nieces boyfriend that she hasn’t been for a few weeks. I always used to keep an ear out for Sheila…

Hi everyone. have just fitted my big bore, was a P.I.T.A getting the exhaust nut off but i managed it in the end by heating it up and then undoing it. now, my main problem is getting the bloody thing back on!, every time i screw it on it just doesnt seem to find the threads, or it will screw on and tighten up, possibly because it is cross-threading, but no matter how much i jiggle it about and redo it i can never get the bastard thing on. i made sure its the right thread and im doing it the right way. but it just wont go! anyone got any suggestions? - Steve

Business Meeting Bingo.... 1. Before (or during) your next meeting, seminar, or conference call, prepare yourself by drawing a square. I find that 5″x5″ is a good size. Divide the card into columns-five across and five down. That will give you 25 one-inch blocks. 2. Write one of the following words/phrases in each block: synergy strategic fit core competencies best practice bottom line revisit take that off-line 24/7 out of the loop benchmark value-added proactive win-win think outside the box fast track result-driven empower knowledge base solution touch base mindset client focus paradigm game plan leverage 3.
