Hey there guys. Just wondering if anyone could help me? I have a 1985 Fz400 that i have recently got back on the road. I have noticed that the front forks seem to be quite soft. They have the TCS (travel control system) on the top of the forks which is like a air valve which i prossume you fill with air to get the correct amount of travel. After pressing the centre of the valve no air came out which either means they are leaking or just empty. Does anyone know what PSI these should have in them? Any advice or feedback much appreciated. Hi everyone Im new here. I have a cbt and am looking for a 125 motorbike to practice on. I am interested in getting a dt but the problem is that I am not sure if I am tall enough for it since I am 5'7. Can anyone shed some light about this and if I would tall enough for one.

Coming home from work tonight when suddenly progress came to a standstill at Mottram for a while, evantually get moving and 600 yards up the road theres a bike on its side and the rider lying on a driveway (people were attending). Hope he's ok and all you commuters take care especially now the journeys are in darkness.

Why is it, no matter where I look, the downpipes and x valve on my Genisis are impossible to locate? Surely someone out there knows where I can find replacement downpipes and valve.........yes I know that Yamaha will do it for silly money..... however finding the parts through a breaker seems to be my only option and yet so far no joy. Anyone that can point me at the right breakers will make my day.....week ....Year! Hay is there anyone out there who can give me a wiring sequin for a 41R-71 flasher unit 9 pin for a 1984 FJ1100 or I think the 600 has the same if you have the ferrying of just tip it up side down and write down the colors for me I could do the same for you on somthing else you might need.

Good afternoon i`ve just come to this site after becoming the proud owner of a tatty old XS400!!.. it may be tatty , but i really like it. i am doing it up to ride next year, hopefuly? i did all the usual things in my youth, like owning a LC and a variety of mopeds. hopefuly i can add to the forums without stepping on any toes, and i might learn a thing or two also.

i am looking for a white light effect simular to the projector type hids,but without the expence .it needs to be a direct bulb swap ,i tried various types such as blue light white light rainbow ,this was a so called super white (not) light .have you got or do you know of such a bulb .

Hello all, might sound stupid to a lot you out there, but i'm having trouble knowing what gear i'm in. I drive a dragstar 650 '89 (my first bike, never driven one before!), and i'm constantly trying to remember what gear i'm in. don't seem to hear it... so lots of time, i just go up to 5th, then come down to whatever i need to be in. I saw these gear indicators on the web, but that seems to be only for bikes with electronic speed indicator. Any advice? thanks

just wanted to say hi to all. I'm a fan of the older Yamaha's, I used to work in a Yamaha dealer in a previous life, now I work on aircraft. I have 2 running yams, a XS650 and a SR 500, plus several more in bits, exactly how many is debatable! hi all my yzf r125 is approaching 600 miles on the clocl...according to dealer i need to get it serviced at £600 can one one tell me exactly what service entails and how much it should cost im a newwwwwwbie and wana get an r6 sooon but bought r125 to learn to ride....any info will be appreciated

put down any drinks beer coffee etc before opening this or you will be needing a new keyboard £1950 ono :lol: :lol:
