I'll tell ya, women can be cold until the end! The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said, 'I've got some bad news. You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order.' The woman was shocked, but managed to compose herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been waiting. 'Well, daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, and we celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer. So, let's head to the club and have a martini.' After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less somber... There were some laughs and more martinis. They were eventually approached by some of the wo…

Right... Don't make many posts, but I am losing the will to live with my Suzuki GP100! I have my FZR600R which is currently having its winter strip and service, and last year in September, I stupidly decided to buy myself a little project, non runner to learn about the amazing 2 stroke engines. So... £200 non-runner GP100 local, decided to buy, clean to a certain degree and get on the road for a laugh! BUT I am facing a huge problem and would really appreciate your opinions on how to solve my Suzuki problems! I have so far... Completely stripped the bike to just the frame, completely removed all paint and rust, re-sprayed and lacquered Split engine,…

In a typical mans world. A typical bloke, having split from his latest girlfriend, decided to take a holiday. He booked himself on a cruise and proceeded to have the time of his life, that is, until the ship sank. He found himself on an island with no other people, no supplies, nothing, only bananas, coconuts and the few fish that he managed to catch. After about four months, he is lying on the beach one day when the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen rows up to the shore on a boat.. In disbelief, he asks, 'Where did you come from? How did you get here?' She replies, 'I rowed from the other side of the island. I landed here when my cruise ship sank a fe…

Hi everyone, I've been hearing a few people have been experiencing slow page load speeds when the forums have been busy. We've just updated the YamahaClub Database Server so hopefully now this problem should be resolved at peak traffic times. I will be monitoring memory usage to see how we get on, so fingers crossed :-) Alex

Different Terror Threat Levels Around The World The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was in 1588 when threatened by the Spanish Armada. The Scots raised their threat level from "Pissed Off" to "Let's get the Bastards" They don't have any o…

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES A handful of 7 year old children were asked 'What they thought of beer'. Some interesting responses, but the last one is especially touching. 'I think beer must be good. My dad says the more beer he drinks the prettier my mum gets.' --Tim, 7 years old 'Beer makes my dad sleepy and we get to watch what we want on television when he is asleep, so beer is nice. ' --Mellanie, 7 years old 'My Mum and Dad both like beer. My Mum gets funny when she drinks it and takes her top off at parties, but Dad doesn't think this is very funny.' --Grady, 7 years old ''My Mum and Dad talk funny when they drink beer and the more they drink the more th…

Hi, Just wondering if it is possible to have the engine block refurbished? The previous owner obviously didnt wash down after a ride on the salty roads and now the surface is pitted and looks quite rough. I could try doing it myself I suppose by taking the downpipes / radiator off but just wondered if there are people out there who could do this? Bike is an 04 FZ6 by the way Also is there any quick way of removing the downpipes? the stud nuts are very badly corroded and I expect they will snap when I try to loosen them. many thanks

hey peeps just been outside to start the DT up and make sure everything is fine, ended up getting the twitches and had to grab my helmet (giggity) and take it for a spin, got back and decided to give the (new) swingarm a scrub down to remove a bit of the salt and sh*t from the roads, noticed that although the new swingarm has only been on for a month or two its already going rusty, and when i scrubbed the rust off the paint also came off with it. now rather than take the swingarm off and respray it every couple of months would it be possible to powdercoat it for a bit more protection?, ive already had one swingarm rust through in a year and replacements are getting …

Hey peeps i know this is a Yammy forum but need some help/advice with the sound system in my swift. basically i got a 500w subwoofer currently plugged in and running on a 10/12AWG power cable (supports maximum 800w), also got a 680w Amplifier for my 6x9s but these aren't connected to the stereo (waiting on an extra RCA cable). now, the sub and the speakers together are rated 1100w maximum output, so i cannot run both on my existing power cable. im swapping the existing power cable to the sub to a heavier 8AWG (1500w) cable tomorrow, im then planning to run the smaller 800w cable to my 6x9s' amp (piggybacking the spades from my subs amp), would this create problem…

I am just fitting the electrics on my XS650 chopper and am wondering what size battery I can get away with. There is no electric start, just lights and electronic ignition to run. I want a small battery to fit under the seat. I have seen some electric scooter batteries at 4Ah which are very compact sealed lead acid. What has anyone else used?
