Hi everyone. My first log-in and first post. I have just come away from a dealer who has offered me a brand new 09 FZ1 Fazer (1000cc) non-ABS for £7525 OTR with 36 months interest free credit. The bike is a UK bike and I can have a choice of red or blue. Question: Is this a good deal, or what? I look to you guys, the experts, to give me some steer here. if it is a good deal, what is the preferred colour amongst the Fazer community? Many thanks in advance Gary

Hi all, I'm still very much of a newby here and still finding my way round ... so forgive if this is posted in the wrong place ... I have a 91 XJ900F and the rear shockers are pooped... so need to find some replacements. Does anyone know if shox from any other bike will fit? Just been offered a set of used 330mm Hagons at a very attractive price .. these are longer than stock ... will they fit? Will raising the back totally wreck the handling or help it? If these are no good, can you suggest anything else .... I'm on a tight budget ... so nothing exotic please Your knowledge and help would be appreciated... Fanks, shakey

Hi all. Ive recently purchased a rossi replica 125, lovely-responsive bike to ride. I was contemplating getting rid of my car and using my bike to commute. (Obviously only when weather permitting). Hi i'm Nick from Illinois - I just bought a 76 XS500 seems in good shape but not running.I only paid 150.00 with a good title. I've read alot about this bike and see it had several problems oil leaks and such hard to get parts but I've always wanted to ride so here i go...this is my first bike so i do have a few questions...1st what kind of Oil should i put in it? synthetic? weight? and how about a filter? oil and air filters - where do i find them? and a new tank the one on it is FULL of rust..I empted and rinsed it but it is still FULL.I don't really like the Square style can i just buy a new one / where? or is it possible to get this one working again? ok and is there …

Oh dear! Next week I am having to go to do a proper job for the next few Months. I have spent the last 8ish years working for myself on various contracts but the latest one means that I will be employed until 2011. No more working from home for a while, I will have to get up and dressed in the dark, a morning commute to Nottingham, having to put on a suit, shirt and tie. Oh dear!

Just wondering here, with the amount of people who come on with the same question, "IE I have a DT 125 and want to make it go faster." Considering the frequency of the question would it not be worthwhile to have a sticky in the off road section that gives the folks some RELIABLE info, maybe a few web sites like DT.com or whatever its called. I'm not wanting to turn members away but those sites have dedicated blogs with instructions on "how to destroy your engine in the most expensive ways imaginable" i mean garage tuning. Can any one please help!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know of a locksmith who can 'clone' a yamaha R6 transponder key (i haven t got a red one). It will have to be in the UK as I am too scared to post the key in case I lose it and have a massive bill from Yamaha. As you may be aware I sold the FZR approx a month ago. WELL, I've just bought another one! It (another 3HE) was cheap as chips and couldn't resist it. Has mot for 10 months, new tyres, new brakes. Needs fork seals done and then cosmetics tweaked to my taste

hi my tzr r 4hw is to small for me am 6ft3 this is a rare bike it has 11months mot and tax on it however is not running at the moment the barrel needs recoated costing 120punds a will carry this out with a full engine rebuild the bike is fairly scruffy but is complete with all documents and fairing which is cracked in some places the front v piece is missing of it if anyone is interested in swap for a dt preferably a will be happy to allow viewing please no silly bike swaps email at [email protected] or pohne 07817671821 ask for sid

Just had Bridgestone BT021 fitted to my bike for 190....nearly 30 cheaper than most quotes I had...why such a difference in prices!
