hey, This is my first winter with a bike, and I wasn't sure if they needed any special care during the colder months. Basically, I'm gonna be away for about a month, so I was just wandering if there is anything I should do to prevent the bike from becoming damaged due to the cold, especially since it won't be used for a while. I don't have anywhere to store it inside so my options might be limited. cheers!

Hello, i'm looking to buy a set of handlebar pull back risers for my dragstar 650. I'm a bit (to say the least..) confused about size... I find a lot of riser sets on internet dealers, but like 90 % is for harley..... also don't want to order in the states, i'm not so patient to wait for 8 weeks or so. Basically, the diameter of the risers i have now is 32 mm (so 1 1/4 inch i guess). Is that some kind of standard in motorcycles, or are sizes between brands different? Also, when they speak of 4 inch risers, is that 4 inch from the point of the upper plate, or from bottom of the riser (as they are still more than 1 inch inside the upper ball plate.. So as you see, …

yesterday on my way to work i went into tescos at bromley by bow, london. as i have two or three times a week for the last four years. i do not remove my crash helmet, buy my dinner and leave. yesterday i was asked to remove my crash helmet "for security reasons" not really a problem untill i see, not twenty feet away a person in a haqib. do they have to remove that i ask. no is the reply that is for religious reasons no it is not, i say ,it is her decision to wear that, not a religious obligation. i could get no answer from either the security muppet or the compliance manager as to why a crash helmet is unacceptable but a haqib was ok. so am i assumed to be a crim…

Well after deciding I didn't like riding my bike vertically, a few months back, I've got a fairing and got the decal on order, so when it comes I want to get it on the bike as soon as possible. Now being the nature of the decal, I've had to pay a king's ransom to Yamaha to get it, and don't want to fook it up when I try to put it on. Just wondering if anyone had any tips for putting it on correctly, or making it easier to do/adjust, as I know how sticky they are as I peeled off the old on, and know that it'll just warp if I stick it on incorrectly and need to take it off to adjust it. Cheers

The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker.. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting.. So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper. Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed. I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed. I found that lots of people love Jes…

A burglar broke into a house one Christmas night looking for presents when the family was not home. He shined his flashlight around, looking, when a voice in the dark said, 'Santa knows you're here.' He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more , after a bit, he shook his head and continued. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard 'Santa is watching you.' Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. 'Did you say that?' he hissed at the par…

  20. Santa and the Fairy Angel One Christmas season a long time ago, as Santa was getting ready for his annual trip, problems started to pop up everywhere around the North Pole workshop. A flu epidemic was making many of the elves too sick to work, and the trainee elves he pressed into service could not produce toys as fast as the regular ones. When he went out to feed and exercise the reindeer, he found two were pregnant and about to give birth, and another two had jumped the fence and gone tromping around the local woodlands. After he got back from rounding them up, Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mother was coming to visit. “What next?” a stressed-out Santa said to himsel…
