So, that's the posting over - they are all out and in the system - it's up to Mr. Postie now for the delivery. If you think I should have sent you one, and might have forgotten, or would like to request one for the first time, please get in touch. There are some great shots of Peter Day's beautifully prepared FZR400RRSP - all photos were online this year for a public vote - and the FZR features quite a lot. We know it's the credit crunch, and difficult for everyone - but any donations, no matter how small, towards p&p&p (production, postage, packing) are most gratefully recieved - and thanks go out to those who have contributed already. hi there, can anyone tell me if its normal for my 2000 wrf 400 to drip a small puddle of oil out of the breather pipe after i have taken it for a ride? if it is normal has anyone got any ideas how i could stop this from happening eg, re routing the pipe some where else so the oil does not come out? has anyone done this before? i have only owned the bike for a short while so this bike is quite new to me and do not know what to expect, the oil is at the proper level and i am reading the dipstick when its warmed up. it also seems to use a little oil as well but no smoke or any other leaks any where. hope someone can help me on this one im baffled by it!. neil.

Hello Just got back into biking and bought a 1995 YZF750r. took it for the first time above 8000 rpm and it started choking. then came to stop on a busy bit of road. Manage to start it after 10 mins with no throttle. Kept it under 8000rpm al the way home - no problem. Is it the EXUP ?? Any Ideas?

Hi to all members. I'm completely new to Yamahas, having had mainly suzukis and kawasakis in the past. I have just purchased(over the internet) a 1998 Thunderace which has done 21k and has been self-serviced by the previous owner from new. I haven't even ridden the bike yet (which is a bit silly) but I liked the look/style of it and it seems to be the right price. The dealer has assured me it's in A1 condition. I like to know a bit about what I'm riding so I wondered if any of you guys know of any common faults/problems with these m/c's that I need to be aware of. Any imput will be greatly appreciated. Also any reviews on your own Thunderace experiences will be appre…

  19. I dont find myself pretentious enough or even have enough spare cash to have a 'cherished' number plate, each to their own though, however I think that some thought should be put into buying one, I've seen plates like B19 ED1E (big Eddie I presume) then watched as some wee 5'8" nyaff steps out of the car, here are another couple of examples from my locale that make me LOL, and no these are not made up ! T4 JUR, from a short distance this looks like TAJUR (the Scots equivelant of TODGER !) D14 REA, (Diahorrea?)
