  1. Sorry couldn't control myself, came past this online and just had to order one. Just for dicking around. Less then 80GBP delivered to my door! Curious to see if it wil even run! Seems like they're a dime a dozain on ebay and the other usual china import suspects. They come in more expensive versions and rebrands also it seems, but it wouldn't surprise me if all those look-a-like engines came from the same factory. Anyway went for the cheapest one I could find, as this is not meant as a serious purchase ! I had never even heard of the concept of a "motorized bicycle", you don't see them were I live. Curieus to see if I can get this thing running on a old bike of mine, shou…

Hi guys Recently got a YB1 (basically fs1) and I can't get up hills with it (no power). Is this normal? (maybe because it's so small?) or is there something wrong with my bike? Already checked the air filter, carb and fuel. Is there some way you guys think I could get any more out of it ;-). P.S the bike seems to be fine on the flat but as soon as I touch a hill it won't get fast again thanks

Just got back home after doing half of the circular motorway - how do people stand driving on that for a living? Even on a bike, with miles of filtering it's horrible enough.

http://www.visordown.com/features/motorcycle-top-10s/top-10-worst-drivers-on-the-road This doesn't add up for me, my experience is mostly sales type people that seem to want to take short cuts at other people's expense, some van drivers are bar stewards and doddery elderly don't always look.

I started a thread on making lists, it was partly to help with a vintage japanese motorcycle club item - i have now wrapped that up pretty much and i'll send it in fairly soon with the cartoons i did. i have another, in the pipeline, on budget motorcycling, if you have the time/inclination i have pasted it in below, this is a draft, i'd be interested in any comments please plus of course your views on the subject, it's a bit tongue in cheek No cartoons done yet. budget motorcycling As a self confessed tightwad you can't find cheaper and more fun transport than used Japanese motorcycles. There's no need to lay out …

Hello guys, Unfortunately as of today, my bike has gone missing. It is a grey 2016 MT-125, taken from SW17 in London. I am not sure if I should provide more information, or what information to provide, just figured I should post this in here. Local authorities have been informed, but as you would already know if it has already happened to you they kind of not even bother with it. Pic of the bike below. Nothing too special about it other than the Yamaha Engine Protectors.

So, this Sundays ice cream run was at a fast/ish but majestic pace. l love these barges, loads of torque a truly wonderful sound and quite quick considering they weigh the wrong side of 700lbs wet. Smooth as silk just eats up the miles, as long a the road has many gas stations.

I started an IAM course got half way through, gave up then did the same thing about 2 yrs later recently came across a different approach that seems to make perfect sense, Some of you may be interested in this, avoiding motorcycle accidents based on anticipating the worse possible outcomes - sounds gloomy but it's to do with expecting bad driving and being prepared rather than taken by surprise https://nosurprise.org.uk/

Do you make lists? I'd be interested to hear if you do. I am trying to write an article on this subject for the vintage japanese motorcycle club magazine, if you have the time and inclination it would be good to have your comments on my take:- Are you a list person? Do you have nagging niggles waiting to be addressed? Some short term priorities and others that need doing but are not urgent? It can become a muddle. Writing stuff down helps clarify thinking. Merely the act of composing a list helps order things although it's not good if it becomes a mass of 'to do' chores that you will struggle to achieve. Courses on 'effective time…

Anyone had any personal experience of the two? Well, I mean one or the other, not both together at the same time PMSL! 'I was taken aboard a UFO by Ghosties' Now that WOULD be hard to believe. Would love to read your 'true' stories because I find both subjects facinating. I'll write mine soon

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good sized and good quality backpack? Current one i'm using is breaking and just a random cheap one. I like these ones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oxford-Aqua-B25-Motorcycle-Motorbike-All-Weather-Back-Pack-25-Litre-Black-Grey-/141881401308?hash=item2108ca5fdc:g:wTgAAOSwqYBWnjOG http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OGIO-BANDIT-BLACK-LAPTOP-CAMERA-MOTORCYCLE-MOTORBIKE-RUCKSACK-BACKPACK-BAG-/222138308196?hash=item33b8799664:g:8xYAAOSwQPlV71RJ I really like the Oxford one but I want other peoples opinions, they are a well known brand.

Ok folks just a quickie. Just bought a front mudguard from tinternet, it has a series of numbers preceded by DAT letters, now I assume they are for the purpose of identifying a part of your bike if it's nicked but I'm buggered if I can find any info on the net that tells me how to check if it's legit or not. Actual thing is "DAT0408588" Tried Datatag and anything else I could think of but do any of you know how I find out if this is nicked or not? The reason I ask is that a "NEW" one is about £150 and I paid £15 ! It's not perfect but just wondering if some poor sod is out there damming me to hell for buying bit's of his bike.

I must be the unluckiest bloke in the world coz I get these ppl phoning me up (mainly from India) about MY accident...............................................I LOVE IT!!!! I can't resist winding them up I once kept one bloke on the phone for over half an hour due to the 'slight' language barrier He was 'as we all know' trying to convince me I'd had an accident. I asked him (amongst other nonsense questions) how much my claim was worth. He told me two grand. "Is that all". I asked. So he upped it to four grand, I mean it does pay to bargain, doesn't it! Eventually I addmitted to him that I had, had an accident. "But what ising the accident"? He asked, thinking he…

Hi all, Newbie here, I recently bought an R6 on an 06 plate. I only have one issue and it's the rear can, although it sounds great it is extremely loud whilst riding. It's around the 110db if not louder. It has a Micron can tuned to a power commander 3. Can anyone recommend an alternative albeit quieter option. I'd like to stay away from the stock can as the stubby look suits the bike. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  19. I went to the Docs today and he asked me if I smoked. I told him - no thanks, I'd already had one before coming to see him. He also asked me if I had difficulty in passing water. I told him that I had felt dizzy spell once driving over london bridge.

Hello I'm a junkyard builder on a budget. I got this fz600 genasis bike with major issues. I want to build a strong fz/fj turbo. I have all ready chopped the bike. There was no seat with it. I have access and I am going to do the yx radian forks seat and tail section. Any interchange parts I can use to build a strong motor? The one in it needs love I have lots of experience are there any change in crank shaft stroke? And stronger lighter rods and pistons I'm willing to over bore. Any info helps
