Saw this parked up while I was out on the push bike a couple of weeks ago. In really good order, 10k on the clock, and not seen one before. Lovely bike, in unrestored original condition

On Wed I was riding alone the M40 on my way to meet my daughter, I was in the outside lane following a Discovery doing about 80 when suddenly the car in front of it flipped sideways, somehow the discovery swerved and missed it by inches and was fighting for control in the middle lane, as luck would have it my exit was coming up and I was already preparing to move over to the inside lane so I gunned it and went for the safe gap that was there as utter mayhem unfolded behind me. It took a quite a while for my heart slow down and my bum to stop twiching, I like to think that it was quick reactions that saved me from being toast but really it was mostly just plain fucking luc…

Good evening all, hope you're all well, I'm a brand new user to this forum and I was hoping to post an advertisement in the "For Sale" section of the website but it is greyed out for me, just wondered if it was a permissions thing because I'm new or something. Thanks very much.

Hello all, This is my first bit of content on here, but I have been a silent voyeur for a while. Lurking in the shadows, trying for the life of me to understand why my bloody bike isn't working. I have taken on a lot of info and tried fruitlessly to solve the issues, but there's something not right. Its a 78' xs250, SOHC, of course. I completely took it to pieces, down to every last bolt. Did everything I could right, all the engine cases got vapour blasted, new stainless steen bolt kit, new gaskets, fresh everything. New coils, new, condensor, new timing chain. But my bike just doesn't want to go. I had an engine, that had a broken kickstart journ…

Well after buying one of these new build homes we came to realise that the gardens are more like Glastonbury festival than nice tranquil grassy planes. So after re doing grass seed etc etc for the past 3 years I thought screw it and done this..........warning it kinda shows off the female side Seats / storage area (still need painting and one more to be made) Nikkita had to pose too haha Fake trees and gravel (some slats still need painting) Corner sofa idea Back rest made from off cut slats

Unfortuantly I never got to ride with my dad who rode all his life as we lost him before I was old enough to ride, so when my daughter who's just passed her test suggested we go for a ride I jumped at the chance. We meet at Chipping Norton which is about one and a half hours ride for each of us had a pub lunch and then spent several hours riding around the cotswolds. It was brilliant, the sun shone the roads were quite and seeing my little girl (alright she's 30 but still my little girl) ride safely and with confidence was a real pleasure. Ended up back in Chipping for a cream tea (why do dad's always pay) and then had a leisurly evening ride home. I've been for a rid…

Thanks for your patience everyone, the site is back up online. Why do these things always happen when I'm away for work. Our backup software had a glitch and stopped removing the older backups which put the server over capacity. Our old backups have now been removed and we've got loads of space back.

Managed to get out on the fazer on Friday, first time out on the bikes for some while. Rode through Derby and up the A52 to Ashbourne, through Ashbourne and on up to Buxton. Roads in surprisingly good condition, lovely sunshine. Brief stopover in Buxton, then back out and across the dales to Matlock for more refreshment, then back home. 140 miles in total on the day. The clutch mod that I did earlier this year is working good for me, and i've dropped the front end another 10mm without any detriment, making the ride a little more comfortable for me but the carpal on the right hand seems to be returning after 20 minutes or so. Ive had to lay off the bikes for some time…

All you folks from West Yorkshire might be interested in these consultations over transport improvements. The Councils tend to omit motorcyclists from their transport plans so you may wish to raise that here e.g. access to bus lanes, improved road layouts, signage for motorists to check their mirrors etc http://www.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/transport-strategy/ http://www.leeds.gov.uk/residents/Pages/Leeds-transport-conversations.aspx The latter ends 20 Sept 16.

You can't get better than Spike Milligan - unfortunatley I should have put 'Old Spkikes' sayings in first - maybe some one will I hope. There's a bit of logic somewhere with Groucho as well as Spike and all - Noel Coward and the rest.......................... To quote Groucho............'If a black cat walks across your path........this indicates that the cat is going somewhere' 'I remember my first sexual contact..........I've still got the reciept'

  16. Sorry couldn't control myself, came past this online and just had to order one. Just for dicking around. Less then 80GBP delivered to my door! Curious to see if it wil even run! Seems like they're a dime a dozain on ebay and the other usual china import suspects. They come in more expensive versions and rebrands also it seems, but it wouldn't surprise me if all those look-a-like engines came from the same factory. Anyway went for the cheapest one I could find, as this is not meant as a serious purchase ! I had never even heard of the concept of a "motorized bicycle", you don't see them were I live. Curieus to see if I can get this thing running on a old bike of mine, shou…

Hi guys Recently got a YB1 (basically fs1) and I can't get up hills with it (no power). Is this normal? (maybe because it's so small?) or is there something wrong with my bike? Already checked the air filter, carb and fuel. Is there some way you guys think I could get any more out of it ;-). P.S the bike seems to be fine on the flat but as soon as I touch a hill it won't get fast again thanks

Just got back home after doing half of the circular motorway - how do people stand driving on that for a living? Even on a bike, with miles of filtering it's horrible enough.

http://www.visordown.com/features/motorcycle-top-10s/top-10-worst-drivers-on-the-road This doesn't add up for me, my experience is mostly sales type people that seem to want to take short cuts at other people's expense, some van drivers are bar stewards and doddery elderly don't always look.

It remains to be seen...
