One of my regular jobs is servicing my brother bike, today I noticed an odd problem, it's a CBR125 (liquid cooled), and I realized I've never heard the radiator fan click on, so I started the bike and left it running to see if the fan would click on, not only did it not click on, but after a little while it started to idle oddly and when you revved it it would hang at 4K. I'm just gonna start measuring voltages and resistances in sensors and cleaning/normal checks. But does anyone know of any specific issues that can cause this? (Not CBR125 specifically, just in general with all bikes) (By the way, it's fuel injected, no carb, fucking EFI, pain in the ass on sma…

Hi all, Sorry for the delay in getting this fixed. MediaTemple had a server outage which corrupted one of our database tables which took longer than expected to fix. All is back up and running fine now, thanks for your patience.

Hi all , new member ,have a 2015 ybr 125 with what appears to be an unusual problem . It's a one owner UK bike , servicing matches mileage all appears ok. The speedo is marked in mph and appears to be displaying same correctly , however the oddmeter and trip are both showing what appears to be kilometers ? Took it for a ride with a mate whose clock showed 15 .3 miles the ybr showed 24.9 which is what it would be in km , anyone experience a similar problem ? Thanks

I am soon going to be in the hunt for a vmax. I have always wanted a HD Vrod as I like the muscle bike look but accidentally came across the vmax (what a beast) and I'm now hooked on the vmax. I will probably have around 4-4.5k (£) to spend. Can anyone give me some info on the vmax: 1. best year (for the money I have to spend and years / models to avoid 2. why not to have the non full power model. What's wrong with the other 3. Pros cons 4. Common problems to look for I know I've thrown a lot of questions but any help and advice is welcomed Cheers Daz

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I'm back in the fold... Picking up a bike this Friday so will officially be back on 2 wheels. Oh how I've missed it. Currently down in Surrey but hopefully I'll get a chance to meet up with the usual offenders at some point this year at Oil Can Cafe or Squires or wherever...! Hope everyone is keeping well.

Never heard of one till someone gave me one to "repair" Its a german made guitar and the firm went bump in 1970 something From what I can gather its an archtop model with a single pickup. Its been well played as the fretboard has worn little grooves in it from the strings twanging. Anyhow i've order flat wound chrome strings and repaired the pickup wiring. Any one know what model it is, I've no sticker in there and have emailed the Framus museum the picture to see if they know what it is.

Ok I notice on here on occasion that we get folks that want to fit a bigger tyre to their bike, why you ask? and truth be told so do I but I found this to be interesting and informative. Wondered if someone could edit it and pin it to the forum so anyone can look it up and stop asking the same question over and over! See if this is any good and comment if you like. Thanks all.

Hi all, I've been told I need a new regulator for my '97 Thundercat. The garage has quoted me £70 for the regulator and an hours labour to fit it so well over £100.This seems a bit steep to me and I was wondering how difficult is it to fit myself. Also I'm not sure if I even need one as I have a brand new battery fitted which is reading around 13 and a steady 14.25 volts when running?.. Does this sound about right or are the readings a bit high? Cheers
