  1. Hey, so I need to try and get my insurance down and protect my bike from the weather. I currently live with my parents with 2 houses knocked into one. I have been given permission to dig out 1 set of steps, as the house is on a bank (impossible to get bike up there). So, if I dig out a set of steps far back enough to fit my bike in the space, I want to know if I was to build a small shed in the space, it will fit, could I class this as a garage? It would be on private land and have walls, roof and door. My dad is a builder btw so don't worry on the building and digging details, I won't knock the bank down... haha

Hi. please excuse my ignorance. I once owned a yz125 when i was 17 but now im 45 and have not owned or ridden since i was a kid. But this Christmas I got my 14 year old his 1st bike. A 1997 Yamaha RT 100 dirtbike. Seems to be in good shape although the girl who owned it painted it pink and green..lol. Anyway.. I have tons of questions some simple and some not so simple. So im looking for help. lets start with an "easy" one. does this bike take gas oil mix? if so whats the ratio and easiest way to figure out how much oil per 1 gal of gas.......that may be a dumb question but I saw somebody talking about an auto oil injector..and i was confused if this bike needs oil …

Hi, I'm new to the site and I was wondering if anyone could help me? I have a dt50mx and the front forks seem to be operating incorrectly I think they may be bent therefore was thinking of getting a front end off another/newer bike and preferably get a disc brake rather than the standard drum. I'm wanting to keep the look of the bike as much as possible. Does anyone know if any other front end will fit my bike. The forks I need seem to be impossible to find in good condition thank you in advance for any help

I need to do my fork seals before my next MOT, one form needs to be replaced, the stanchion is missing some chrome and it's cheaper to get a replacement then just replace the tube. But, the other fork stanchion seems in ok shape, but there is very minor pitting on it, theirs one or two small pits about the size of a grain of sand, would that be a problem and end up ruining the new fork seal or do you think it'd be ok?

Ok folks just a quick idea here. So been meaning to balance the injectors on the FJR since I put it away, finally got round to it and stuck the balance tubes on the little tit things and merrily started to balance it all. Will it f**knig balance out NO! go through the procedure again and reattach all the pipes and make sure the right pipe is on the right tit then check to see if the gauges are working ok still won't frigging work. Finally get round to checking the ends of the rubber pipes that connect to the bike (running out of things to try at this time) find that the rubber is stretched just enough to let air in thus messing with the balance calculations, so chopped 1/…

Am I just unlucky? First was a flit spwhich I had repaired. Second is a slow puncture that can't be found. I don't have time to worry about such things so got a new tyre fitted. The important thing is to get to work and get home. I may have not done the tyre much good riding it to the dealers when flat with the first puncture. Shoukd I carry an emergency canister? Or have I just been unlucky. I'm riding a 50cc Neos 4. Don't laugh - it does the job really well on narrow twisty lanes going to work and back. I'm getting 120 to 125 miles to the gallon, so I have spent more on the puncture and the new tyre than I have on petrol.
