I know this is not something we normally do on here (Politics) and I'm NOT having a shout about what happened but quite a lot of our folks on here come from Manchester and the surrounding area, are you all ok? and is there anything we can do to help? Stay safe out there.

Hi All. Over the weekend of 27th-29th May, my wife and I have organised (for the 10th consecutive time) an annual 150 mile Cycle Ride across the UK from "Coast to Coast", to raise money for a very deserving cause - Macmillan Cancer Support. Many here know this, but for those who don't, Macmillan provide free care and support, both at hospital and in-home, for cancer sufferers (and where necessary, their families) which is only made possible by people making donations and carrying out fundraising activities. Liz and I have both lost our father's to Cancer, in both cases their suffering lasted a period of years, rather than weeks - and we have a number of other family…

Been thinking about for sometime now. Daresay many folks will disagree, but Im not looking to get into controversy. As a rider, I will now draw the line at ABS and fuel injection on all present and future bikes that I own. I worked for 48 years as fitter/millwright/mecahnic/technician etc across a variety of industries, and saw machinery move from principally mechanical modes of operation, to the current generation of software driven and controlled state of the art bells and whistles high performance hardware. These changes have of course, filtered through onto our motorcycles, and it is now possible to purchase a machine with differing levels of launch control/trac…

I bought my bike a few months ago, as soon as I bought it I noticed all of my electronics would shut off then the bike would backfire and then shut off completely. The bike would act like the battery was dead. I replaced the stator and regulator along with all of the plugs and fuel filter and battery. Everything was going good the bike was running very well for a week or so and all of the sudden the same thing began to happen again. In the interest of saving money I did buy an off brand type regulator and stator. Any suggestions on what to do now?

Just a quick note on cleaning the rusted downpipes on your bike. I haven't seen this before, some of you might have, but it seems to be a good trick to keep your exhaust clean and make it last longer and when you think how expensive they are to buy it makes sense to keep them for as long as possible. I don't think I have seen this on here before so it might be helpful to some of you. The state of this guys bike and the cracks in the frame say it all really FFS!

Hi all, I've had several requests to look at adding two factor authentication to users accounts. I've just set this up and you'll be seeing a pop up with information to set this up. This is optional and you can chose at the bottom of the window to opt out, you won't have to see this again if you opt out. You can either use the Google phone app to authenticate or answer an additional security question. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers Alex

Hi all, I know I haven't been on here in a while "sorry about that" Basically I took my 04 dragstar in for a new clutch and ever since then it has had problems. Mainly if I take it out and ride it literally a few miles it becomes harder to change gear and if I pull up it won't go into neutral until late it's cooled down. I know people will say take it back to the garage " done that at least 8 times" my problem is they won't give a refund and say just bring it back we'll have another look, even though it seems obviously they don't no what they're doing. Any help would be great as I've lost all faith and enjoyment from my ride thanks to these clowns. Ps I'm in …

So, decided to get my frame powder coated but now can't see the frame numbers, I don't want to stamp it myself incase of issues later on, also it may not pass an MOT or may raise PC Plod's eyebrows if I get pulled, I have the V5 registered in my name and did take a photo of the frame numbers before powder coating, any advise please?
