I need to do my fork seals before my next MOT, one form needs to be replaced, the stanchion is missing some chrome and it's cheaper to get a replacement then just replace the tube. But, the other fork stanchion seems in ok shape, but there is very minor pitting on it, theirs one or two small pits about the size of a grain of sand, would that be a problem and end up ruining the new fork seal or do you think it'd be ok?

Ok folks just a quick idea here. So been meaning to balance the injectors on the FJR since I put it away, finally got round to it and stuck the balance tubes on the little tit things and merrily started to balance it all. Will it f**knig balance out NO! go through the procedure again and reattach all the pipes and make sure the right pipe is on the right tit then check to see if the gauges are working ok still won't frigging work. Finally get round to checking the ends of the rubber pipes that connect to the bike (running out of things to try at this time) find that the rubber is stretched just enough to let air in thus messing with the balance calculations, so chopped 1/…

Am I just unlucky? First was a flit spwhich I had repaired. Second is a slow puncture that can't be found. I don't have time to worry about such things so got a new tyre fitted. The important thing is to get to work and get home. I may have not done the tyre much good riding it to the dealers when flat with the first puncture. Shoukd I carry an emergency canister? Or have I just been unlucky. I'm riding a 50cc Neos 4. Don't laugh - it does the job really well on narrow twisty lanes going to work and back. I'm getting 120 to 125 miles to the gallon, so I have spent more on the puncture and the new tyre than I have on petrol.

I have recently purchased a new YBR 125. I need to get the 600 mile service done and other services in the future. The dealer I purchased the bike from is 30 miles away, but there is a non franchised service garage about a mile away from me. If OE parts are used and the bike serviced to the correct specs is this valid for the warranty? Cheers Iggy

Someone if trying to sell me a "CB550 cosworth", but I can't actually find any information about them anywhere, the only visual difference to the bike apart from a normal CB550 was that if has "cosworth" cast onto the cylinder head, anyone know anything about these?

Hi sir, Is there's a compatible block for my dt50(with radiator) that can be used as a replacement? Like higher CC, i've spent so much time and money but cannot fix the engine of my bike. What i want is to retain the engine case(bearing serial no.) for registration purposes and replace the block that is compatible with the transmission. Tyvm Jero

Hi there hope you're all well, hopefully someone can help me with a problem. I have got an annoying judder when I slow down and I'm riding in a lower gear. Bike runs fine when I'm in the top gear and riding but as soon as I slow down and in a lower gear there is a juddering sensation and also a rattling noise. I'm hoping someone on here has had the same problem and had a fix. Thanks

Hi everyone I made a big mistake with YBR injector model basically before I got my A license I had the YBR and wanted more power like u do. I purchased a engine with the big bore fitted to it and sold my old engine. But once fitted the bike keeps jerking when ridding and idle the reve counter jumping. I know now that the big bore is not ideal for the injector models. can anyone help me or give a stupid YBR owner advice please.

Just as the scaffolding got taken away now I'm worried sick about something else. On Friday evening I was sat at home with the door open. I have 5 cats so if the weather is not too bad I leave it open so they can come and go. I'm sat there on the pc when all of a sudden the cats come charging into the house followed by a Jack Russel and a Staffy. I jumped up and shouted get these f'ing dogs out of my house. They ran out and by the time I put my trainers on and went out one cat was in the my garden in a dogs mouth. He managed to get away and thank God he come back 20 minutes later unharmed. A few gardens down the other dog had hold of another of my cats. He managed to brea…

I know its not motorcycles but my laptop died last week. Mr fixit changed the duf hard drive (don't keep anything on it I'm not bothered about losing). But Mr fixit convinced me to go for some upgrades, a 250G SSD. Fk me! Fast!, I shit you not from stone cold off to ready to post on YOC in seconds, windows is up and running from cold in under 5. No whizzy noises either, its silent save for the cooling fan and that's only when gaming. everything happens so quick its ridiculous. Very much recommended.
