Hi everyone, Im new here and so I disnt know where to start so I just thought to post my issue here. I have a YAMAHA ENDURO 125 DT it all runs good and clean. Uphill no problem. But as soon as I start climbing down the mountain it starts choking and the exhaust starts to pop loudly. I try to give it some gas it wants to go nowhere it just chokes and you hear like a deep muffled sound. Bare in mind this only occurs when going DOWN the mountain and even after I come to a flat area. I tried everything. I cleaned the carburetor, checked the YPVS even thought to leave it open static and not automatically. Still nothing. Tried new spark plugs. Still the same i…

Okay so I have a 1982 seca 400, the tank is basically trash. It leaks out the cap it has a new leak out the side of the tank. It’s just done. I can’t find a direct replacement any where. What would be a tank I could get from another bike that would fit? Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi all I have restored an Aprilia RX50 2010 for my son to use, it was just general wear and tear and an engine rebuild. I'm not sure if its a problem but on tick over the head light is very dim. if you raise the revs to around 3000 its perfect, the headlight works on AC straight from the stator. I have read that this normal on a lot of mopeds, my real question is that will it pass an MOT like this ? any help greatfully received nige

So I have this xt250 which I'm doing a bit of research on. The exhaust pipe has three fixing points for the muffler cover. However the muffler cover I have which seems correct from all the graphics from the web and also from fowlers website, only covers TWO fixings. So my question is, can anyone tell me which bike the three fixing exhaust might be from? That way I can either buy a muffler for this exhaust or try to source an xt250 exhaust. Also, the bike seems to lean over A LOT on the side stand. Can anyone give me an exact length of stand, I'm wondering if it's not the correct one? Thanks

My left light (under the speedometer) has turned off, I'm looking to get a replacement bulb but had no idea what bulb I need to get? It's a YBR125 Custom 2010/11, any help on this would be awesome! Hello, About to buy a PW50 for my daughter but have reservations about how legitimate the frame and engine numbers are, could anyone advise?

I bought a dtr 125 and it came without a registration on it both engine and frame numbers are still present but I can't apply for a logbook with out knowing the registration the vin the vin is 3db-000920 any help would be greatly appreciate

Long story short my uncle is retarded and forgot how to tighten a sump plug, so now I've got to find a sump for a KZ900, problem is anything Z related is like fucking gold dust. Anyone know of a UK KZ specialist that might have one for a reasonable price? We where planning on just having a new thread tapped into it, but it seems the sump is cracked, or at least it apears that way, could be a casting inperfection but he doesn't wanna risk it.

Here we go, , just click install on your extensions, [ tools] .. heres a step by step, , ,this enables you to see the old threads ,piccys, Worked for me If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

Hia, basically had a bit of a tumble on my bike recently and now been having trouble with the gearbox. It seems that when I try to change gears on my 2013 custom model the ‘stick’ (I’m not sure what to call it? The black gear changing pedal) gets stuck on the side panel of the engine, I think that’s what it is anyway. It worked fine before just been having the trouble recently after the fall. Is there anything I can do to fix it? At this point when I’m riding I find it difficult to change gears, I’m having to sort of pull the pedal out before pushing it up and when I do that it still catches on the engine - any advice?

Used a neighbours toolkit over the weekend changing the alternator on the wifes car. (See why its a 500 quid job). Oh my. Its a blue steel set (snap on). Half and quater drive rachets and sockets from 4 to 24mm. Spanners too. Extensions and a full set of torx and star drive drivers. Its was just so good to use. Really good. WANT ONE........

Just a quick question, I have to replace the tyres on the FJR this year, does anyone have an idea on the best or even the worst tyres out there at the moment? The rear is toast but the front is ok'ish so would prefer to replace both rather than faff around with changing one then the other. The FJ owners club has some that they like but their choices range between ok prices and WTF are they made of gold..! Is it worth the extra? I have used all sorts over the years even those Chinese tyres made out of Bakelite that had no grip but lasted forever. Just wondering if there is a tyre that corners and likes the rain that won't cost both my bollocks when I tell the wife how much…

Hello, I have a 1978 Yamaha DT. All lights are working except brake lights do not light up when I brake. I have checked connections, bulb and the battery is new and still cannot fix this issue. Any insight on the problem would be helpful. Thanks
