  1. Hello I think you might be wise to get a manual for bike. You may find it doesn't have a dipstick, but a sight glass instead. Mine has the latter.

  3. British transport dept take note, a 2" diameter pot hole shouldn't take 7 men, 45 cones, 4 weeks notice, 6 mile detor and a bag of gravel to fix.

  5. Well after many hours and also building a dva adapter for multimeter to test cdi reconnected cdi in unpotted format to test and she sparks. connected fuel and on 4th crank she ran. that twin pot two stroke is loud with the exhaust prop out of the water! love it when you fire an engine for the first time. Had to pull plug caps off to stop her though.

  6. I take my bike to a small private garage in a remote village and even have to help the examiner. I.e. sit on the bike and do this, do that etc and never has he asked me to put the steering lock on. Hope this helps. Mike

  7. Grouch mate can I just say something here? DON'T attack your bike with a crow bar and heat, leave the steering lock how it is for now. A photo might help if you want some advice on how best to tackle it.
