  4. Most cush drive dampers come out fairly easy unless they have been in there to long then they get a bit difficult to remove cos they distort. Usually the way to get them out is to take the wheel out then the drive side of the wheel is a lot of wiggling and swearing to get it apart, should just be a push fit, don't think any of the main manufacturers bolt them in, might be wrong about that but never had a problem getting them apart other than the above.

  5. Funnily enough, i changed the exhaust to a Fuego one yesterday, pretty basic and cheap so wasn't expecting much, but the chrome on the original was terrible so needed to replace. It is so much better! I assume because the original is coked up. The bike before would only get to 20 in second and have a massive lag after you change up to third and then would slowly get up to around 38 if no wind etc. Now it gets to 28 in second and with a wind this morning it got up to 38 easy. It feels so much better!

  6. The Yamaha Data book I have say's XJ600S/N up to 1995 Pilot Screw 2 turns out. Only screw them in to a lightly seated position to find the starting point before backing them out. Tony

  9. well i was looking a wee bike to run about on and do day to day biking . kinda to keep my firestorms miles down a bit.. so a mate was selling this yoke. needs mot and a clean but otherwise seems fine.. and for the price i couldnt say no. £300 makes a divvie seem interesting.
