I`m back, not that anyone would remember from 2008. just been on to update the profile and guess what, I can be in one of 100`s of different countries, some as obscure as the vatican city, including Wales and Scotland, which is all good, BUT..................... WHERE IS ENGAND???????? And before any one says we can use United Kingdom, so could the Scots and the Welsh. What`s good for the goose an all that. Cheers DR.

I have joined other forums in the past which were related to the vehicles I own and work on frequently, I have always found them to be very helpful especially since many of the other members as either more advanced in the repair work and knowledgeable, or they have experienced the same issues and provide various ways to remedy the problem. I am quite sure I will find tons of useful information here as well as a few possible friendships. OHH Yeah by the way my name is Dave and I have a couple of vintage yamahas listed in my profile and am currently restoring one of them! the other the 650 GSE I have promised to sell to my stepson.

Hi all, I'm a new member to the forum. I've owned my 2000 DT 125 R for 9 months now and have been doing a lot of Green Laning down here in Cornwall. The bike has been relatively trouble free with a few laning related problems. Mainly blocked carb!? Anyone else get that? It has however recently broke down on me. I'm going to do a bit more research and forum search before posting up a please help me message? ;-) Cheers n Gone Tim

Hi all, I signed up for the forum a while ago but thought it was about time I introduced myself. I recently swapped my '97 XV535S for an '81 XS250 and it seems I've got my work cut out for me. I've had a good look round the bike and am thinking that I need to get it running now after buying it with loads of bits missing and generally in unknown condition. Once it's had a run and I know it's salvegable then it's back to pieces for more cosmetic work and titivation - I've even got a colour scheme picked out, getting a bit ahead of myself there eh? I guess I'll have lots of questions for everyone whilst I undertake this project but I'll also try and get some pict…

I de restricted the bike and added in new rollers ( 3.3g ) and also added a stage 6 pro replica exhaust, it trys to reach 30mph but cant and only reaches it goes down hills, but when it does reach 30mph the stage 6 exhaust kicks in and it flys right up to 50mph. I've had this bike for a year but it was sitting outside my house for 6 months of that year and ive only really been riding it 4 months. I fitted these things after i went 500miles and they were fitted the other day. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it and why it isnt getting up to 30mph ???? PLEASE HELP Is it the spark plug ?

As it says really. No bike as of yet, looking for an xvs 125 in the south wales area to get me going. I'm just an old man who's taken 7 years to convince his wife that a bike is a good idea. Hope to pick up omething suitable during winter and strip off all the uneeded bits ready for spring and CBT, though working 6 days a week leaves little time. Anyway, hello, read a lot of the forum already.

Hi everyone, Just introducing myself really... as the title reads I'm a total newbie, I live in South London and I recently bought an '04 XVS125 Dragstar('L' Plates and all). Thought i would join because I've got a bunch of stupid questions about bike stuff that I want answered for free. (Might as well be honest). I'll do my best to contribute what little i can as i go along. Cheers!

Hello, Purchased my first bike a couple months ago, 1978 DT175E. Great condition considering I live in Ketchikan, Alaska and it rains so often here that people don't just age here, they rust. (Thankfully there's very little of that going on with the bike! ) Just missing some minor parts that I've mostly already replaced (just got my package full of parts I ordered, today). Bummed that it's still missing the left side cover panel that covers up the oil tank but hope to find a replacement in the future. Anyway, did quite a bit of searching google for answers now that I'm teaching myself how to fix the bike up, Google pointed me here quite often so I thought I'd stop in…

Gidday all! Just been doin a little net surfing and came accross this forum. Haven't spotted it before. The name is Ken and I live in the Hunter Valley of NSW, Aust. I have been riding on and off for some years and recently aquired a V-Star 650. I have no need for a bigger bike as most of my previous bikes were all around 250's and I don't get the opportunity to take long rides.
