  1. Started by Rickard,

Hello! I don't remember if I ever made a post here, but I think I have forgot about it. I have since long been an owner of a Yamaha DT50 MX and just recently bought a DT 125 LC (-87). Thought I would become a member here and hopefully gains some new knowledge from others experience, participate in a few discussions and perhaps get any hints and clues of where to get thingd or how to fix something. (Currently, I am searching high and low after a rear mudguard (the part which holds the break light and license plate) to the DT 125, but havn't had any luck yet, anyone having a spare one or know where I can find any after market ones that fits?) Take care guys, a…

Hey everyone! I've been browsing the forums and decided I might as well introduce myself! Name's Ryan, I'm 31, brand new to motorcycles, and I live in the little town of Port Dover, Ontario. Some of you may have heard of it before... A motorcycle has been the one machine on wheels which has eluded me. I have drove everything from cars, little trucks, big trucks, boats, snowmobiles, quads...3wheelers....and anything else that you can fit a motor in, but I've honestly always been a little intimidated and maybe even scared to ride a motorcycle. It was almost a conquest for me.... I had to face my fears. I searched and searched for the perfect newbie starter bike.…

New to this forum, but not to forums in general. Had a look around and it seems to be a helpful kinda place, so will sit quietly in the corner for a while, watch what goes on. Main interest is trials, I have two Whitehawk framed TY175's which both see regular competition. My G/F and I both have road bikes from a erm, certain Bavarian company, but try not to hold that against us. A KLX 250 was my G/F's first bike after her test, and that is kept for green lane duty, a Chappy 70 gets her kids around the fields (for now) and very shortly I hope to take delivery of a DT 175 from across the pond to tinker with. No doubt I'll have some questions before long, but I'll try the …

Hi, I'm new here and new to motorcycling. I have ridden a pedal cycle almost everyday since E.T. came out at the cinema and couldn't think of travelling any other way. That is, until recently when I bought a Yamaha YBR 125cc. Now I keep asking myself why it took so long to upgrade to a mechanically propelled bike. Oh well, I suppose it kept me fit all those years. Now my priority has shifted from fitness to convenience as I mainly use my 125 to commute instead of enduring those pesky night buses. My journey time has been cut from 1.5 hours down to 20 mins... Having worked on whatever cars I have owned, I look forward to doing he same with my bike, obviously with a little …

Hey everyone, My name is Logan and I'm in Viriginia, USA, but originally from West Virginia. I'm a fairly new rider and first time really using a forum. I've looked around the forum and know I can learn from everyone so I thought I would join. I've actually never been a forum member before, so forgive me if I don't know the proper way to do things. I grew up with my family riding but just recently bought my first bike. It's an sr250 and its in pretty good shape but I can't wait to start working on it. Thanks everyone! -Logan

Hi All. Another newbie! SWEET! Anyway, I'm here because i took the plunge and bought my first bike. I'm at stage four of my third midlife crisis and just have a couple more hurdles, then skydiving to go. I don't guess this is the correct place to front a bunch of amateur questions, so I will wander off to a more appropriate section and start annoying those more knowledgeable than me. Its wonderful to meet you all.

  17. Started by Sandrina,

Hi, just joined YOC. I've recently bought a XJ900 trike , yes a trike. I gave up riding a bike a few years ago due to illness but I missed riding it so much that I had to get another, but this time with stabilisers!! The old girl is 25 years old and needs a little bit of TLC and a fresh coat of paint, which my trusty old bike fiend of a Dad is going to do! I'm hoping that by next Spring Dad and I will be going off on Sunday morning ride-outs again!! One of the immediate problems is with the forks & I've posted a topic on the workshop section is anyone can help that would be great. Bye for now!!
