Hello guys! Just bought another project, seem to think buying as many older bikes as possible is the best way forward I have a 1977 TY 250 in a million prices and just recently picked up a box or 2 of DT125lc to put together. All I need is some sunshine and this damn cold to go away! Cheers JB

Hello, I'm new to the world of forums. I thought I'd do the first step by welcoming myself and saying a little bit about me. I am a keen motorcycle mechanic with a keen interest in motorcycles and cars. I have two motorcycles, one is my daily driver and one is my new years project AKA DT14. Thanks

Hi, I'm Peter, originally from Australia, but I have retired here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Shortly after I arrived here I got a Kawasaki Versys which is great because Chiang Mai is surrounded by mountains, lots of twisties to have fun on. A few weeks ago I spotted a TDM900 in a shop here, went for a test ride and the rest is history. Picked it up last Monday. Should be very happy in the mountains too. Apparently it maybe the only TDM in Chiang Mai. I don't think they were originally sold in Thailand. Anyway, talk to you all later.

Hi all, Name's pete and i'm from Cape Town, South Africa. Loved bikes all my life, but early on MGs stole my true love. Honest. In the middle, work and children got in the way. I was taught to ride a '34 250cc BSA at age of 9, circa 1955. Brother's bike. See, even as children we were into old stuff. Now daily ride is an XT 6002 kf. Restoring an '84 XT 600 39E (34L). To follow are an XT500 and an RD 350 lc. And only then an MGTC. Think i got it right this time. p

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to been on the road! Though I've a fair bit of experience off-road. I'm currently riding a XT125R which will become my display pic when I have access to the computer (currently on phone). It's a 2011 plate, well maintained and a beaut if you ask me! Though I'm hoping to have past my full test shortly if I can manage fitting it in around work! Then I shall be investing in a bigger Yamaha! I'm looking forward to meeting others like minded and what not. Regards Ryan (call me Percy if you want)

Hi, new to the biking world. Did my direct access in August this year and promptly went out and got myself an xj6 diversion as it was familiar being the bikes that the school used. Massively happy with it at the moment, used mainly for commuting but will put some mileage on it next year. Looking forward to learning off the masses of experience that is evident on this forum.

I joined this forum ages back but never got around to introducing myself. Better late than never. I moved from the dull world of twist and go to proper bikes 3 years back now and utterly love my XJ6S. If I have to go somewhere without the tribe, it'll be me and the Divvy. We've had some long trips (Surrey to North Devon and back), plenty of commutes and blasts out to Box Hill and of course, the Hindhead Tunnel. Other loves (aside from the family), fine ale, loud and heavy music and footy. Cheers

Greetings Everyone, I'm 35 and from Singapore. Been lurking in these forums for a while and am pretty happy to find that it's quite active and full of informative posts. Got myself a XVS400 Dragstar Classic a week ago and enjoying it so far. Have lots of questions to ask. I am good with a wrench, but have no experience working with bikes. I'll have a lot to learn from the guys here. Ride safe!

Hi Everyone, I passed my CBT just 14 months ago and, being short, ended up having to get a Yamaha SR 125, which is the model I used for doing my CBT. It's a super little bike and I'm really enjoying riding it. Motorcycling has changed my life and I am loving every minute that I can get out and about, though did have my first spill on Saturday during a Christmas toy run. Headlight smashed and needs replacing, and damage to the exhaust, but more cosmetic. All part of the learning curve. First fall had to come at some stage and wouldn't normally have been out on such greasy roads so normal common sense would have prevented the spill. I hope to learn lots f…
