Hello everyone, I'm Aj, I've just bought an 03 aerox 70cc kit , and its not running properly :-( can't afford to take it garage atm so am trying to learn as much as I can so I can do jobs to keep costs down.

Hey all, after a bit of a nightmare with a GSX-R750 IOM TT Edition I was meant to pick up yesterday, which was written off by the dealers mechanic on the test run, I put a deposit down on an 2009 (2008 model) R1 today, chuffed to say the least, it's absolutely stunning, hopefully will be picking it up this weekend, if all goes well! can someone please help i have no idea what the pipe at the top of the cylinders that connects the two cylinders together as my one has a big crack in it and i have had to tape it up for now until i can get hold of another one but cause i am a noob with mechanics i haven't got the foggiest what it is called, if someone can help it would be much appreciated!!!!

Hey everyone, good to be here! recently started riding a 2002 125 XVS Dragstar for last 2 months, its my 1st ever bike and really enjoying it! and because its im new to bikes i'll have to apologise for all the questions ahead of time! I think its running well, timing might be out a bit but nothing too much worry there (i think). however the rear brake doesnt seem too effective, just wondered how much, in general, it would cost to replace the rear brake shoes/pads? Also im from south east london/ croydon area and if people wanna meet up and ride and you dont live miles and miles away then would be good to meet up with a fellow cruiser biker cheers guy…

Hi guys My name is Terry and I am 23 from Lancashire. After having a car license for 5years I have recently decided to get into biking. I bought an R125 after doing my CBT and passed my A2 test in October on it. I still have it and plan on keeping it for at least another year or so, just to really get used to the feel of biking. I hope to join in on the forum and hopefully learn a few things on the way. I am pretty much a noob when it comes to 'all things bike'

Hello Fellow Bikers. Can anybody tell me if there is any differance in the running gear/electrics etc between a 1990 xj900f & a 1994 xj900f.The reason behind my Question is that iv'e just bought a 1990 xj900 bobber project but the engine is scrap very low compression on 3 cylinders.Not the end of the world as the frame has been superbly chopped & there are some great machined parts.So my idea is to buy a 93/94 pre-diversion & use all the good bits.but not sure if the parts are interchangeable.Any info would be fantastic.Also if anyone out there has a complete (must be tidy & mint running) xj900 for sale please let me know.Regards Mark.

Hey everyone, Joined this group because I need some help fixing up an old YG5t. I inherited an old Yamaha 125 dirt bike in the late 80's ( rolling frame and a box of parts). Without much knowledge/parts/internet, I am sad to say it went to the great junkyard in the sky. Now, when I see an old piece of rust, I can't help myself to try and bring it back to it's former glory. Started with a 1966 Bultaco Lobito, and then picked up a 1969 YG5T. I am going to look around, but what I need help with most is how to wire the 12v voltage regulator. I bought a service manual, but my VR only has 2 terminals, and the manual has 5. Hi all newbie here just got my self a XJ750 seca 1980 import lovely bike gave her a good blast yesterday going home fof getting it few small problems for what i can see. Speedo not working the rev counter is tho anx she not idlein very well noticed the rubber boots from carbs to ports are crackin so will have to source them fingers crossed you lot will help :-) Im based in south wales hope there are a few peeps close

hi i hope some can help i have a dt 125 r 1988 the headlight works when the bike is running but no rear light i have checked the blub thats ok . also i have no brake lights and no horn or neutral light with the ignition switched on has anyone got any ideas please thanks mat

My name is Tommy & I've just bought a 2001 Fazer. This kind bike is new to me been a retro & all. I've been riding sports bikes for years & decided a change was needed + my young lad wants to join me for a few spins. I also race in rounds of the Irish Clubman's in the Supersport 600's class for the past 3 years. That's really it, I look forward to joining in & having a bit of fun here on the forum. Doing DAS so next step in a couple of weeks is on a 600 and around the Mod 1 pad. Should be fun Theory test on 13th march, have checked its not a Friday !
