Hey new to the site, I will be picking up my Fz750 on Tuesday

Helloooooooo, its me Postie Rog. After tooo many years on all fours, thought I would go on two wheels before I degrade to going on all Fours, or worse. So bought a basket case Yamaha SR 125 for starters, but need help !!!!! The bike has cleaned up quite well but, I need a workshop manual to help me replace the Headstock bearings, which failed the MOT. It need's tyres any links would be appreciated. Any information would be gratefully received. Many thanks Roger

Hi everyone, my name is Matt. I am in the process of fixing up/restoring a 1977 DT175 that was given to me. The bike is in not bad condition and i think with a little TLC it will come up nice. I havnt really been into bikes for a long time, probably around 20 years ago when I owned a YZ80E. I will be needing lots of advice, as I havnt really done much work on bikes in the past. I am a mechanical fitter by trade, so I dont think this is out of my reach to restore this bike. Look forward to talking with you. Cheers Matt

I have ridden since I was 3 feverything from MX superX, stunt competitions to just riding on the street for fun and still ride almost everyday. Hey everyone! My name is Scott, i'm 25 and a new rider, living on the South Coast! Recently passed my CBT and have got myself a brand new YBR125! Am loving the change from 4 wheels to 2! Although this cold weather has made my rides to work a little nippy! Cant wait for the summer! Was just looking to see if there was an Owners Club - so here i am! Hello I just bought a 1981 Yamaha 550 Maxim and I want to customize it! The bike is stock and in great condition, but im really tall so I need to make adjustments as well as some cosmetic upgrades. Right now my handlebars are to small so I want to install 12inch ape hangers, I think its 7/8 bars but im not sure. Also all the switch housings, brake and clutch etc etc on the handlebars are broken and worn and I would like to replace EVERYTHING on the handlebars with CHROME! The speedometer works but the tac does not so I would also like to replace both with chrome as well. So my question is, where can I get these things and how do I know if it will wire up and fit? Hi to all from North Hertfordshire.Just begun adventure with Yamaha by purchase RS200 for restorstion- nice 2 stroke classic and rare bike but have been a biker for some time owned Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja for a while than went for GSXR 750 SRAD as I just love old carb bikes , not so keen on injection. I also nearly finnished restoring JAWA 350 TS from 1984 and it's getting ready to be passed on to my father in law as birthday present next year for his 50th birthday. hello my names toby and ive recently started an bit of an overhaul on my very ratty ty250 pinky, which decide last week that it was officially dead after 19 years of abuse and salt air of the isles. So theres no doubt im gonna be on here a lot looking for bits or confirmation that bits of other bikes will work on it but the main reason im here is that i cant find the one bit that keeps my bike out of service: the cdi!!!! i was wondering if by any chance anyone knew of anywhere selling two stroke 250 cc cdis or has one for sale? that might work to get the engine going

hi im Chris new to this forum,great to meet everyone,had a problem with my R1,automatic choke was stuck on but think ive sorted it now,new petrol and injector cleaner seems to have sorted it,hopefully... will be sticking around here tho,good to meet new bikers,you never know when we might need each other lol. Hi all! I've just joined as I'm attempting to fix up my 1990 XJ600 (with 38k). I bought it a few years ago as a commuter bike, but it needs some TLC to get it working right again. I'll be needing to sort out the fork seals, valve clearances and possibly the head bearing (I hope not!). Also, it's always had gremlins with the battery charging circuit so I need to sort that out. So far I've fixed up some electrical connections and removed the forks from the bike. I'm looking forward to some help from the forum guys here to help me though! I'm an Engineer living and working in Belfast, Northern Ireland. happy 2012 to you all!! Keith
