Hi everyone, My name is David Shaw I am an engineering student in the Isle Of Man. As part of my course I must design and manufacture a product as part of my project assignment. As I am a new rider on an FZ6 I have decided to design a top handlebar clamp for the FZ6 and FZ6 Fazer model bikes. I have put together a brief questionnaire as part of my research and was hoping to place it on here in the forums with the aim to gain some feedback from other FZ6 owners, which would hopefully help me in my project. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me put it on here as I tried just pasting it in but wasn't sure on how people would reply! Any help would be gre…

I want to fit my 1996 (95 left over) SECA II with a full fairing. I possibly have found a place to buy the a set of Lockhart Phillips lowers to add to the stock fairing. I also was wondering if anyone out there has any information on making a full fairing from a differnt bike fit? Also, I was wondering if the SECA II had the same or a similar frame to any other Yahmaha, or any motorcycle models tha might be easier to find a full fairing for. Hopefully someone has a bit of information for me. Thanks, Aaron

I notice we don't have a specific area here for those of us that have taken the plunge and bought one of the MT series of Sports Torque motorbikes.. To that end I have created a domain and set up a mini-website and forum just for us. Feel free to pop by when ever you get the chance. Hope to see you soon! MT-Owners-Club.org.uk

Hi-- On my Yamaha Virago, the steering lock is engaged by turning the handlebars fully to the right, after which, of course, you can't turn them back. My question is-- I was taught to always park the bike with the handlebars cranked -left- for maximum stability. Any opinions on whether the stability is compromised by using the steering lock? thx

Hi I picked up a 1987 FZ600. It was in bad shape. The rims had 8 layers of paint the frame was just starting to rust, the wire harnes was cut up.... A few pictures: I ripped it apart and had the carbs and forks rebuild. Bought a few new parts... I powder coated just about everything! Frame wheels forks... then started to put it back together. I need to find a nice fuel tank so if anyone can help me with that I still need to ceramic coat the pipes and muffler and install afew things like the tail and turn signals but its running and looks like a fun bike to drive. Let me know what you guys and gals think. …

I am 19, going to college, and in need of more economical transportation. right now i drive a 2002 mustang gt, and with the parking the way it is at school, i have to get on campus a few hours before my classes start to get any parking. so, my thought is to go with my desire i have had since the first time i got on a dirtbike; i want an R6. but since i dont have much expierence riding on the street (i rode a Honda 650 enduro for a short while) i am asking you for any insight. i have heard to only get a bike if i really love riding, not just for gas prices or parking. i am still trying to decide which bike to get, and with a college student budget, i want to be sure b…
