Hi All. Can someone help me, I have a xj600 1990 with only 12000 odd miles on it and its now running poorly, I've put new plugs and air filter on but with no joy. It seems to be chocking up with fuel and missing after about 15 mins of running and wont tick over.And then fails to re start. The carb are clean and fresh petrol. I can clean the plugs and the next day it starts but all of above happens again. Anyone out there with any idea of whats wrong. Thanks Jon

Ok long story short. i locked my breaks in heavy down town traffic, and spilled the bike on the right side. Its looking like im heading in for a 3000$ repair bill..... Ive been told to look around else where before heading to dealership for parts ect ect.. Ive looked on ebay and cant find anything for my New R1. what else do i have for options... thanks

Replaced the gas tank on a 2002 R1 and now the bike will only start with starting fluid. It will not idle or start on its own. Disconnected and reconnected everything many times. The pump is running and pumping fuel (93 octane). Only thing I did notice is that when I removed the old tank and it still had some fuel in it, the fuel pump lines were not plugged and it did not leak any fuel. With the fuel pump installed in the new tank, it leaks fuel from the main line now. This may or may not be an issue, but thought it was worth mentioning. I am totally frustrated. Any suggestions?

I picked up a 1987 FZ 600. Looks like a fun bike I decided to restore it so I powder coated everything. I have the carbs and forks Moons Super Cycle being rebuild. www.moonssupercycle.com I have been looking and there are no FZ site and vary little info out there so If anyone know of any good sites let me know. Here are a few pix of the bike when I got it Here are a few pictures of the frame and some other parts now. Parts have been Powder coated with a Gloss Blacke and a silver flake. Hi recently got a xj600n R plate 1998, what tyres are best, i will be using the bike all year round, to commute about 30 miles a day. Thanks

Any suggestions of good tyres for 1996 TRX? Only just bought it with mich macadam 100x (F120/60zr17 R160/60zr17). I See on one web site that they are crap but they feel OK to me, even when squared. Must be sticky, well able to lean / cheap, last millions of years. Always expect too much. Current quote £150 pair.

Hi Guys, New to the list and looking for some info on end cans for a 2003 Fazer 1000. Smaller and lighter, a bit louder but not obnoxious, a bit more power is obviously a good thing, smoother throttle response would be nice. Hey all - Any idea of where I could get a center stand for my newly aquired 1991 Yamaha XJ600s Seca II? From what I've read - Yamaha did offer it as an option, but I can't find one anywhere - some 80's SECA stands are on ebay - but no Seca IIs. I can't imagine taking the bike apart without a center stand. Dave

I would like to get a few more ponies out of a 93 Seca II I just purchased for 600 Bucks. Minor problems, nothing I cannot fix (It overflows oil, i think the rings are burnt). The bike only has 5,500 miles! I rode the bike 2.5 miles home, and realized its lack of power. My first bike, from last year was a cbr600 f2 jetted and piped...much different..I can appreciate the SECA if I can get it move, and even though nobody wants to talk SECA HELP ME OUT!!!! I just need 5-10 horsies. I think I have the small dual carbs. Is it possible to upgrade to the quad carb setup? Any exhaust known to work on this bike? Thanks for any advice..

AS ABOVE i want the4 best fitting one ,as ive purchased one from ebay and it fits rubbish to be honest.Do all undertrays make the pilion seat sit proud of the bodywork?

Howdy, I'm new here so please be gentle. I'm writing a piece for GEARHEAD NEWS here in Chicago, and I need to know what changes have occured in the V-Max model since the inception in 1985. hi guys and girls newbi here. Im 22yrs old have driven a car for past 3yrs and before that was a little ped boy! please no comments. I have completed bike theory test and cbt on geared 125, im going to be doing my DAS and i have set my heart on a R6 (first geared bike he he he) so not actually an owner but will defo be joing the gang!! Thinking of getting an Exhaust for my 04 R6? Any suggestions? I simply want a road legal (removable baffle) and not have to adjust fueling, power commander etc! Thinking Arrow, Termi, BOS, Micron, Scorpion. Has anyone had these? Comments please

i was out with a few friends the other day and as i turned all my electronics shut off on me, i pulled over and turned the key to try and start the bike again as i did i got nothing....just nothing at all no oil light no front lights i was confused, we tested the batt, and it was fine . we pop started the bike and it seems to run like crap i couldnt stop or it would stall . when i flicked the highbeam switch the bike would wake up for a second or two and shut off and when i put it back to low beam it would turn on but sound like poo and run at 40 mph with full open throttle, help me please i cant live without my baby and do miss it so.....

hey im new here, just have a question. My friend is selling me his fzr250 1990 model 1998 import to australia for $3000, it has a new engine with 20k on it that cost $1500. My question is are there any main problems with the fzr i should look out for, also is it possible to do an underseat exhaust conversion. I have not seen ONE 250 that has an underseat exhaust, why is this? thanx for ur help

Hi Peeps, Need some help please im am going to buy an R6 this summer but am unsure on which one to get reading the reviews obviously the latest one is the best but i haven't got the money for that, i am thinking bout buying an 02 one is there alot of difference between a 1999 bike and a 2002 and if there is whats the benefits.
