Hi y'all. I bought my YBR 125 (2006) about three weeks ago and have hardly had the time to use it since. I noticed yesterday that the front wheel is not exactly free running, in that the pads rub stopping the wheel in about 1/4 rotation after a 'good swing'. The pads were fitted by the Triumph dealership I bought it from the day I collected it, so are 37 miles 'old'. The fluid level is well up in the resevoir, but not excessively so. I took it apart yesterday and cleaned out all the dust etc. and the caliper seemed to be quite free running. Should I just let these bed in, of should I be covering it all in copper-ease before hiring a truck and taking …

Hi Just collected my 2004 R6 and have a probably stupid question relating to bulbs - hoping for some advise. What bulbs should be on when? There appear to be three bulbs per side. The tiny little "running" light, looks like a side light. This is lit on both sides when the bike is fired up Then there are two bigger bulbs. When i have the bike started i have one bulb lit on one side but not the parallel . Should it be? Then when i put on full beam only one bulb on the other side lights up same when i flash passing lights. Surely this should be both sides lit? Can anyone please explain what i should have when? Hi, Just brought a 1995 XJ600n as my first big bike after passing my Direct access. unfortunatly it didnt come with a manual and been having trouble locating one. Anyway my problem was that the other day I ran out of fuel on it, and found to my error that i hadnt any reserve tank on it. Can any one help by telling me with position i turn my fuel switch to for off, main tank and reserve. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers from rob

hi every 1 this is my first time on here ok my question ive just bought a micron system off flea bay i want to no if its race or road system been on micron site no joy, any way the standard system is a 4 into 1 30mm headers and a 50mm exit the micron is a 4 into 2 into 1 35mm headers 35mm exit but the outside dia of the link pipe is 65mm, there is a pipe inside the link pipe welded in making it 35mm so this is smaller than a std, can any 1 shed some light on this, i would put a pic on of the exhaust but not sure how

Hi guys n gals. Firstly, what do you think to my gorgeous R6? Bit different i like to think. Just bought this 2000 R6 a couple of weeks ago, and rode it 150 miles home and every thing was alright with it so i was chuffed. I then took it out for a blast this weekend and the oil light came on and an oil can symbol started flashing on the electronic dash. I checked the dip stick and it seemed to read fine but thought i should maybe just top it up anyway just in case. So i went and bought some fresh oil and started to fill it up. Hey guys i'm new here and I just bought my first yamaha. I'm only 17 but i've had 6 or so mopeds and motorcycles since taking my CBT because I get bored and need variety. I bought a 1998 (or '97) RXS100 energy induction for £500 and I must say it's a piece of engineering brilliance. I won't be changing bike soon and it's put me off taking my test since it's got plenty of go for my use. It's so small and has great power for a 100cc. All these other kids ''looking like power rangers'' on their 'sports' mopeds havn't got a chance at the lights. Hey I have an FJ1200D from 1992 witch has a lot off vibrations, I have found that the bolts tighten the lover fream pips was loss! The loss bolts has been renoved, but I need to find the tighten recomandation for adjusting off the Stopper damper abowe and under the chain?? Best regards Lars Walling

Hi all, I've got a v late 2001 R6 & have noticed that it seems to really suffer from understeer at some bends. Bit strange because sometimes it feels spot on & then it just takes me completly by surprise and runs v wide....which isnt good because its not predictable! I havent had it long so could be just a case of getting used to it. But any input would be good. Cheers Vic

I'm looking at a 1982 Yamaha XS400R Seca as my first motorcycle. It's mostly to get to work and back, as gas prices are killing me. The bike has low miles, needs a few cosmetic things, (turn signals are not attached, and will need to be replaced) it may need a new battery as well. My question is: What type of things should I look for when I get pictures from the seller? What kind of questions should I ask him? What types of things typically go wrong with these machines? Hi peoples, got an old 93 yzf 750, she breaks down @ 4000 rpm, sometimes it will spit an sutter till she breaks free, and off she goes, taken out the exup cleaned greased, no differnce, cleaned carbies, no differnce, fuel pump, seems ok, starts, idles, and once through, (if it breaks through) breaking down stage, it actually goes ok. 37.000 klms on the clock, presume to be actual, so up for major service, so is it timing, valves throttle senser?? what ever they do, battery, seems fine never hurd of charging causing this When in nutural it will some times rev its tits off at first then will go into breakdown at the 4grand mark, so sounds like fuel BUT????? Help!

So this in not my first bike. I know the general things to look for on a bikes condition but not this model specifically. What to look for?

Can someone with a similar bike ,tell me what color the wires are for the connection at the gas tank , for the gas gauge? I have no wires there now (tank) and want to hook something up. I see a green connector not being used hanging off the frame near the underside of the tank. I'm wondering if these are the wires? Kevin

Hi all. I have a ybr125 of 2007, and have been riding for almost 3 months on a daily basis, commuting to work, etc... I try to avoid riding in rain, but using it daily means you get caught sometimes, and usually the roads are skiddy in the morning because of the dew. I still have the stock tyres on the bike, and was reading on the net that changing to some better brand will make a heck of a difference. So i just have a couple of questions I'de really appreciate if you could pop your suggestions. 1. Any particular brand known to be suitable for this bike.
