hi guy's this is my first post, so Hello everyone nice to meet you all. Im interested in buying a yamaha FZR 1000 exup genesis 1989 / 90 model. Its done 15k miles, and is in good ish condition. Is this bike reliable? - will it start if I dont use it for a week. I've ridden it already and the power is amazing. Its good on insurance for me because its an old bike. Do they have any known major faults? or anything i should look out for in particular (im a trainee mechanic)

Anybody know how to fit front flush mount indicators. These are approx 90mm x 50mm carbon look, made by dura & come with self tapping screws, 30mm long screws & nuts and double sided tape. I can't suss out how to secure them. I've got indy spacers. Do you need to drill the metal backing plate....Any ideas??

Total n00b question here... i am looking to make some changes to my bike and i was wondering if you guys could help me.... I see a bunch of bikes with what seems like a stripe of color that runs around the inside part of the bike's tires... is taht part of a rim that i would have to buy or is taht apart of the tires taht i would have to buy.,.. or (and this is what im hoping) is it just an accessory i can buy and apply to any tire/rim.... thanks in advance

i have a new 1300 Vstar terrific bike, but the seat wiggles a little bit when not sitting on it, does any one else have this problem? is it ok? any input appriciated

this is clearly a 86-88 FZ600.. what kind of tail is on it? and, has anyone done anything similar to this to their FZ600? thanks, erik

hi all, new here...... looking for some help if possible. the accelerator on my xt125x (07 plate) has become stiff and hard to twist. after like, 10 minutes my wrist and arm really hurt and become numb. i have tried wd-40ing everything i can see to no avail! any ideas? thanks

Please help! R6 06, when i start it up sometimes its starts no probs and other times it starts and dies instantly, So i try again and i have to start it and hold on the revs otherwise it dies again. After a few seconds of revs its ok and will tick over...Its intermitent and doesn't do it all of the time. Its like it cant be bothered to start and tick over!!!

Hello Everybody, Just joined today. I ride a 52 plate R1 but have a problem. I was going to go out for a ride today, but the bike wont start. The battery is fully charged but I have a fault code "11" on the dash which according to the Haynes manual is a camshaft sensor problem. Before I start stripping the bike down and swearing is there anything else I could do or check first?

Nah, I'm not talking about disturbing individuals exposing themselves in public places! I'm referring to the little relay boxes Motrax sell. They apparantly correct the flash rate of LED indicator lights that have just been installed on a bike which originally had standard bulb indicators. I've got to fit one of these Motrax Flash it relay boxes to my 2007 R6, but havent got a clue where and they dont come with instructions. Can anyone advise where you plug it in?

My bike is from 2004, with the ECU ending 00 and the TPS is A1. I have read in several treads that the TPS need to be changed to A2, but what do I tell the Yamaha store if they do not know anything about the problem? hi there I have bought a new FZR600 rear shock which I was going to fit to my FZR759R until I found out that it was just to long to fit I had hope to raise the rear of the bike using the longer shock can anyone tell me if this modification can be carried out by fitting the 600 dogleg bottom suspension arm many thanks

Think im goin to do a Rossi Fiat yamaha replica. In the last 3 months i've done a Relentless Suzuki, Rizla Suzuki, Various other makes of bikes, it's time to do myslf one......Does any one have R6 fairings and tank for sale doesn;t matter if they are damaged i can repair them... Thank you
