Hi, I have a moto 4 That will always start 1st or 2nd pull when cold and runs fine until it gets warm and i turn it off after this it won't start again till about 20 Min later, Then it goes with no problem i have no idea what's causing this so any help is really appreciated. Also i know this is a motorbike fourm but i don't know any other fourms i can post on I'm not 100% on the year i think its around 89-95

Hi Guys, I recently bought a Black 1994 Yamaha SR125 and when the previous owner had it someone stole the left hand side battery cover. I would really like to get the bike back to looking it's best (I know it's only a 125 but still..) My issue is that I can't seem to find them anywhere on the internet unless they are a complete mess. I was just wondering if anyone knows where they would be available. Thanks in Advance, Alex

Hi all my friend has given me 4 bottles of lawn mower 2 stroke oil which is green in colour.I'm using red 2 stroke oil at the moment.would I be able to use the oil he has given me,or stay with what I know.thanks all

Hi all and merry Christmas. I have a top box and mounting plate from an old bike but the rack won't fit, so I'm looking to fit a rack to my bike, but don't want: a. A huge hunk of metal on the back. b. To spend a fortune. I was thinking of getting some steel/aluminum bars and fix them to the rear passenger handle mounting bolts(I don't carry pillions so don't need the handles), and fix the other end directly to the mounting plate. I'm wanting something minimal, but strong enough to be safe. Before I get shouted at ;-) I have searched this forum and the interweb for 'homemade rack' despite a few interesting rack images (female type) I could find very little. …

I have a ,recently reparied, xj6 divvy f. After the recent repair my back brake seems very 'soft' to push down but more alarmingly it locks up very easily? Could someone give me an idea what could be the caused as I now nothing about bike repairs?

Hi all, I've got a quick and stupid question: My Auxiliary light bulb popped the other day. I've checked the handbook for detail of how to replace it, but it doesn't give anything constructive. The big question is, once I've got the cowling off, how the buggery do I get the old bulb out? I've had a fiddle but no joy thus far. Any help gratefully received.

Hi newbie post Purchased a xt125r in Nov. First mototrbike ever after just having passed my CBT. The bike only has a kick start at the moment as starter was not working. I've just replaced the starter mototr and tried to replace the solenoid but ordered the wrong one (one with the 2 bolts) as mine is the older solenoid black box type with 4 pins. JUst a query do I need to have a kill switch on the bars and stand switch for the starter to work?, have a haynes manual and it seems as if all of these are connected in some way. wires look OK I found the wire to the clutch was not attached and had to reconoect the starter mototr cable, not sure if thats all…

Hi guys pls help.i changed my sprocket and chain today and had to take off my gear shift.after putting it back on can not get any gears what have i done wrong.i have found neutral but my light does not come on.but no other gears pls help what i have to do thanks in advance.yamaha rxs 100 i have.

Hi Guys. Pulled the engine on my XJ600. Stripped it down only to find one of the cylinder liners was scored inside . Honed the liner now spot on. Phoned Yamaha and they are Quoting £40.50 for a set of piston rings . Dose anybody know where to get aftermarket piston rings . Cheers Mel.

Hi I have just bought a fzr 400 when I got it everything worked the next day the inca actors rev counter and the temp gauge , oil and neutral light have gone of the fuses just keep blowing and melting has anyone got a idea what might solve this also the battery is earthed to the chassis twice with I find dodgy but am stuck on this any help or info will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

hi guys! i have just purchased a 2004 yzf250! i got home had a rip around then realised the two forks were covered in oil! its coming from the fork seal, every time i push down it creates a ring of oil on both forks! i wanted to know if it is normal for both seals to go at the same time? also how much roughly will it cost to replace by a mechanic also is it straight foward to do it myself because i have hardy any mechanical ability. many thanks!

hello everybody i have a yamaha xt125x and the carb is a mikuni 3d6 just wondering what size jets fit best into this carb and what model this model is closest to as i cannot find this modle anywhere on mikuni's website

The front wheel and forks are off..triple trees still on. Thought I would check them and notice there is a sort of click into forward, left and right positions. Is this normal?..would think things should be smooth throughout the turning radius. Are the bearings shot?
