    ok im new to the 2 wheel world, i just bought a 2001 R6 and the forks need new oil seals, and i have no clue on how to go about fixing them. Im very good with mechicans but im stumped with this. Please help me out. Thanks, ~Craig~

    I have a SR125 on a 1994 plate. I am having intermittent starting problems and wondered if anyone could give me advice. I have a new battery, new clutch cable and new plug, but there doesnt seem to be enough power going through, to turn the starter motor. Its turning it, but not fast enough. Sometimes it starts fine, sometimes it wont. It can be running fine, then if I stall it or have to stop, it sometimes wont start again and has to be bumped. Tonight, a car pulled out on me, causing me to stall..... I couldnt start it and had to push it to a suitable place to bump it. Also, the kill switch will not move, I dont know if this is relevant or no…

    Hi All. Can someone help me, I have a xj600 1990 with only 12000 odd miles on it and its now running poorly, I've put new plugs and air filter on but with no joy. It seems to be chocking up with fuel and missing after about 15 mins of running and wont tick over.And then fails to re start. The carb are clean and fresh petrol. I can clean the plugs and the next day it starts but all of above happens again. Anyone out there with any idea of whats wrong. Thanks Jon

    Hello there does anyone out there know what the knocking noise is coming from the top end of my 92 600 diversion? I've replaced the cam chain tensioner as advised but still the same. It is worse when its cold and seems to fade slightly when warmed up but its still there and driving me had. Thanks.

    Hello Can anyone offer a likely cause for a problem with my 1984 XS400 dohc. It starts on just the left cylinder until it's warm(ish) when the other cylinder cuts in. Only clues are that I can't check the plug as it's stuck (don't want to force it until I know where to go next) but connecting a spare plug shows it is sparking. It runs and starts perfectly when warm. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks CEG.

    can anybody please help me. as my techo keeps reading 3k then nil then 3k then nil even when i ride it. ts only been doing it since the shop put my new straight through can on. its a pain but the bike runs fine???????????????????????? thanks dudes adi

    I recently purchased an 82 xt550 that hadn't been operated in a few years. I'm charging the battery, but I don't know if it's a 2 or 4 stroke for the oil that I need to buy. Also having a hard time finding the rear tail light assembly, but I think I may be able to find one based on some of the answers that people have given here. If anyone has any suggestions for getting this thing running, and if I can find if it's 2 or 4 stroke that would be excellent. Thanks in advance.

  12. Hey All, We have an XJ900 trike (shafty) which is running at high revs! Does anyone have any ideas on how to lower them? The rear axle is currently off an old Reliant Rialto which is running on 185/80/14's. It's got good torque and wheelspins but don't want it revving so high at high speed! (Currentl 9000rpm at 90mph - eww) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

    Hello, my xtz660 seems to be getting 'lumpier' to ride at low speeds (25 - 40 mph). Its fine at higher speeds ! I have no manual for the bike, so need some help ! Also, decided to fit a new plug, just in case that was a simpe cure, but cannot get any of my spanners to get under the frame. Any idesa on both items, much appreciated.

    [Had bike a few months and now there is an oil leak from one of the exhaust pipes from the engine. This is dripping constantly and the oil level drops after 350 miles usage. I keep topping up , have not lost power, but is embarrassing when parked up. Any one had a similar problem?

    Hello, I'm new to the site and need some technical help with my dt125r (1998). I've just taken off the rear panels to do some routine stuff and noticed that the rubber cap/seal/grommet (what is it actually called?) is missing from the coolant expansion tank. Obviously I don't want the coolant to escape accidentally, would I be okay to simply cover it over with gaffer tape. Does it need to breath or to be able to pop off? I'm trying to source a replacement but haven't had much luck yet. No doubt the official part is expensive, does anyone have one that is surplus to their needs? Cheers in advance.

    cleaned the carb out. loads of crap in it. when i put it all back together and turned the fuel on it pissed out of all the over flow pipes so i'm thinking the floats are set to high but not sure how to get the correct level??? dropped the level a bit , bike ran for a minute the stopped? any ideas? cheers ,dunken.

    hi any one know how to tell if the air screw on my tzr 125 rr is set properly? is there a standard setting? at the moment its set at 1 1/2 turns out from fully in! cant seem to adjust it without taking the tank and air box off. it starts fine but out on the road it struggles to pull cleanly threw the rev range???? heeeelp\1

    HI GUYS HOPE YOU CAN HELP I HAVE AN XJ900S THAT HAS STARTED BLOWING THE MAIN FUSE . THE BIKE GOT KNOCKED OVER AT WEEKEND WHICH DAMAGED INDICATORS BRAKE LEVER ETC . SHE STARTED OK AT THE TIME BUT SINCE I REPLACED INDICATORS AND LEVER IT IS BLOWING THE 20A MAIN FUSE HELP PLEASE
