Hi, new to site, haven't owned a small bike for a long time!! I have just bought an XT125r for a bit of cheap and cheerful commuting (small 4 stroke trail style = easy to ride, frugal etc) as my last bike was not for the job (ZX6R). Anyway, I have not been able to get hold of a wiring diagram for it. It is too new a model for there to be a haynes manual. Can anybody out there help? Enjoy the biking everybody!!! Many Thanks Dan

i have unbolted the top mounting but the with the bottom mounting i have removed the split pin and tryed taping out the pin to remove the suspension but it will not move even when i have used wd40 on it can anyone give my any advice please

Hi, I want to repaint my Fazer 600 2003 top yoke as the ignition key has marked the satin black finish. I have removed it from the forks with no problem. Can anyone tell me how to separate the top yoke from the ignition switch assembly? There appears to be two bolts which screw in from underneath, which have some sort of tamper proof cap inserted fitted. There are also two small plastic caps near the top. Removing these reveals inacessible nuts. Thanks, Dave

Hi everybody my first visit to this site . I am a dinosaur rider having been an Army Dispatch rider on BSA machines I then used all Yamaha CC step thrues inc Townmate Yamahas . in The last 10 years I own 4 BSA machines I am now selling my A10 Gold Flash through health reasons , I have purchased to continue riding a Yamaha RXS ;1500 miles on clock . How do I get at the bulb in the Rev counter I have no Manual only owners the subject is not mentioned Help please

on my 2000 YZF R6 as i ride with dipped headlights on but main beam seleted off, the blue main beam warning light comes on. it is only dim, not how it lights up when main beam seleted but still noticeable. it varies in brightness but has no responce to throttle postion. when seleting main on and off all works ok. i have been told it is possibly water ingress into my clock but dont want to start removing clock or anything yet as still new to motorbikes and dont want to start something i may not be able to finish. please please help....... VMT

Hey well basically ive bought a new dt 125, id just like to know how are these restricted, ive had it up to 65 on the speedo in 5th but when i go into 6th gear it will slow down to 40 mph, its fully standard so any help would be great thanks. ride safe dodge

This is my first road legal machine, and i havent treated it in the best of ways like i should have.. but it was bought from Garlands anbd Griffiths motorcycles in haverfordwest wales, i should have known something was up when they tried telling me my rpm guage was my fuel capacity, and my digi speedo never worked.. the foirst time i washed it the paint flew off the undertray, and this was with a hosepipe, not a pressure washer, oil leaked from the exhaust joint, the bolts vibrated loose and the headlights kept failing... and to top it all off, the headgaskets just decided to start leaking oil and start whistling at me, now, due to the fact i "neglected" it…

Hi there guys, When I bought my bike, the toolkit was missing (figures huh? it was second hand so I cant complain ...much!) Anyways, I was wondering if any of you kind chaps (and chapettes) could tell me what should be in the toolkit? or am i better just buying one of those little Motrax mini toolkits? any help would be appreciated. Hi all, iv got a 2001 R1 with a harris high rise race can fitted on it, but it still has the standard headers with the exup valve . I have seen some micron full race headers and link pipe for sale that i would like to buy, but im not sure my can would fit as it has a long link pipe on it (a kind of `S` bend that harris do to make it a high rise) I was thinking of taking the exup valve out to save me buying race headers, would that make any differance? Has aynone taken the exup valve out of the bike, if so what differance did it make? My bike has been dyno jetted and has a K&N filter fitted, on a dyno run it made 151 bhp on the crank and 138 on the back wh…

Hello Just joined forum. Based in Ireland. I'm looking for some tuning advice please. Have a stock 01 R1. I want to give it some power gains. I wanted to get advise on the following: 1. Best method to beef up the spark, i.e. what coils? maybe taylor plug leads, iridium plugs?? 2. Change end can only, which would be loudest & give most bhp gain? 3. Want also to smooth out the throttle by fitting a dynojet kit + k & N filter, + of course dyno time to get it all running smootly. So in a nut shell, beef up the spark, add end can, fit dynojet kit + K&N filter. Any info greatly appreciated. Many thanks Spondon

Hi there After finding and keeping an eye on the rapidly incresing play in the bering that holedes the rising rate link to the swing arm on my 02plate xt600e. it was soon time to do some thing about this so i orded the two new insertes and a bolt in case at the time not realising that this all ran on a plane bering driled for gresae. sine removing and striping the link the bolt is badely worn and scored. the worest part seames to be that most of this were has come from a large burr from some ham fisted jap. has any one eless found any thing eles like this that is best delt with now. and if you do have to buy anything like this take a good look at it first. jim

I collected my 2005 FZR yesterday and as i was riding to work this morning the speedo and mileometer stopped working, the rev counter and everything else still apears to work. It was wet so i wondered if water may have got into it somewhere, any ideas? has this happened to anyone before? Thanks Ian oh and hi, i'm new, absolutely love my new FZ6 (except the above!)

I know I am a newbie here, but I was hoping you all could help me with a problem I am having with my 85 BW200. The bike is great except for one minor problem with it not staying running. It will start and run, for a good 5-10 minutes, and then it will just shut off. I will then have to choke it again, and it will start and run again for another 5-10 minutes and then die. I recently just replaced all the cover gaskets, and cleaned out the carb, as there was some foam from the air filter, that got sucked into the carb. And it did not change anything. I am not sure what else is could be, any ideas. Please help me. Thank you in advance for all your help.
