my speedo seems to only work above five mile an hour on the counter could you help fazer 600 s2 ghundefined

Can anyone help? My Speedo ahs stopped working - well it dsesn't work all the time anyway! Any ideas? thanks, Markmac

Hi Looking to fit aK&N filter on my TDM 900. I realise that the fairing has to come off & the tank need to be lifted out of the way before you can get at the airbox. Anyone got any useful tips of what to watch out for when undertaking this joyous task? Thanks BeBop

Just got a 1990 FZR600. Its fouling the spark plugs badly and uniformly across all four plugs. The NGK web site says it should have non-resistor plugs. The plugs that are in it are resistor plugs. The NGK web site shows Yamaha using resistor plugs only after about 1995 or 1996. It has a salvage title. I'm wondering if someone put a later engine or at least head in the bike that takes smaller plugs (10mm) rather than the 12mm plugs that are spec'd.

i have brought a 52plate dt50 for my son and its had some grubby kids fingers all over it and im looking for some wiring diagrams. also im after various spares for the bike. i need an exhaust, rear light indicators seat/cover W.H.Y ?

frustration setting in! tryin to figure what year my beast is. vin shows as 91, but has a 6 speed trans. from what i see it wasnt offered on 91 so im guessin someone swapped engine and trans?

Hi all, i have a Yamaha Neo's 100cc Scooter. my indicators only work when my headlights are off which is a problem as i do alot of riding at night. the bike was fitted with a brand new battery in may, am i right in thinking that i need a new alternator? Thanks in advance

'owdoo everyone! Bike newbie after some product advice... I'm looking to get a battery charger for my 56 plate YBR125 I don't use the bike that much, and every time I go to it the battery's flat. I'm looking for something I can leave connected for longish periods (weeks?) which will be safe, and keep the battery nicely topped so I can just fire up and go when I want to use the bike. Obviously I'd rather not spend too much if it can be avoided! I know this is probably a really daft question, but being newbie to all of this I'd rather ask the Yam gurus than trust my own judgement and burn my house down! Thanks in advance.

I have recently bought a cheap RXS 100 to use to get to work and back, but upon standing in the garage for a week the 2 stroke tank appears to have emptied its contents. There is no leak on the 2 stroke tank, any of the piping or from the oil pump. The gearbox was full and overflowing through the dipstick and from the colour of the oil it looks like it has 2 stroke oil mixed with gearbox oil in it. Is this possible and if so does anyone have any ideas on a fix. The bike starts and runs fine (although as the bike has no MOT i have not been able to road test it). Cheers for any help. Matt

The pro:s n cons of semi/full synthetic oil, can they be slightly mixed up??(if out of one can you top up with the other) and whats the pro;s with slick 50, can it be mixed with both oils in a bike with a wet clutch, anybody know

Hi this is my first post, iv'e just bought a front end damaged FZ1s and i need help to find replacement parts ie will a R 1 mudguard fit this model.

its not rocket science i know but try useing the girlfriends hair bobble wrapped around the bar inbetween the barend and the throttle grip; works on me tdm 900 anyway

Anyone any experience of thunderace clutch slip and is it expensive to replace? Oddly enough it is worse when cold.

Im stumped. My wires are inside my ignition coil and it almost looks as if theyre not supposed to come out. I need to change the wires. Someone out there has done it, right? please send some advice

Hi, I've just bought a new Varta battery on- line, it came without the acid. I have bought the acid but as I haven't done this before, (and I'm female ) I would welcome some tips please ? Do I need a funnel,? or is there some kind of filling device ? or would I be better asking a local garage to do it ?

Hi all, Have had a problem getting my new project to fire on both cylinders. Starts reasonably easy (easy if warm) using kickstart, but starter motor turns slowly even with reasonable battery charge. Fuel system seems fine, it quickly starts spitting from cold pipe. Have changed plugs, switched leads and replaced coil to suspect side with no change. I've got a multimeter (not too sure on exactly how to test condenser or any other potential causes), the probem seems electrical? but any tips would be most appreciated!
