Hi all! I went down on the highway a while back and have a lot of cosmetic damage. One of the big issues is my fuel tank is damaged. I bought a new one and have taken off the old one. My question is, how do I take out the big white pump thing from the old tank so I can get it into the new one? There seems to be a little tab that's preventing me from pulling it out. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there, I have a bike I know nothing about. It is a Yamaha RS200 in blue. I have never rode before. I am going to attempt the CBT after new year. I always thought that L plate learners could ride under a 125cc. My bike, being a 195cc, is out of bounds for me until I pass my bike test. However, it appears on this list as being 33bhp. http://www.bat-motorcycles.co.uk/33bhp.asp Does this mean I could ride with L-plates? Sarah

HI! I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ON UPGRADING MY YAMAHA TDM 850 (3VD). I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO FIT A 17” FRONT WHEEL FROM A THUNDERCAT, BUT WHICH SPACERS, SPEEDO DRIVE AND DISCS DO I USE? I HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT THE FRONT BRAKES CAN BE IMPROVED BY FITTING THE BLUE SPOT CALLIPERS FROM THE R1 OR R6, ARE THESE A STRAIGHT FIT? I WOULD BE INTARESTID TO HEAR OF ANY OTHER MODS I CAN MAKE USING PARTS FROM OTHER MODELS.

I have a new 1100. At about 200 miles it began to backfire thru the carbs. It is very cold natured. It backfires if you push it from a start, expecially up a grade from a stop. (Not that much of a grade). I now have 840 miles on the bike, at 730 miles I had the 600 mile service. The dealership has not been any help, explanning that 1100reds are cold natured. I also feel that the low end power should be better, however I have never owned a bike of this size. Anyone out there have suggestions. I will probably go back to the dealer after the Holidays.

The indicators and hazards on my 2001 TDM 850 have stopped working, They were fine until last friday when half way home the indicators started to work sporadically but now nothing at all. Thought maybe a relay but apparently the hazards and indicators are on seperate relays so (apparetnly) the chance of both going at the same time is rare. Any advice would ne of great help, fitted a set of heated grips 2 weeks ago. don't know if that would make a difference, they do not go through the wiring ciruit thay are straight connection to battery.
