    hi guys , newbie here bought a new blue r125 2 months ago , love it great fun. anyway this morning went to start it but completely dead- no lights nothing ,zilch, zero, the bike does have a cyclone c11 alarm and immob fitted but i dont think it is this as the dash lights normally come up even when immobilised, the bike is covered at night but we had some serious rain and wind last night, worried this might have something to do with it -maybe water in electrics, any ideas or anyone had similar probs cheers opifi

    Please could someone explain to me how the fuel reserve works on my newly acquired XV 535? I have read Haynes & the Clymer manuals & I'm none the wiser. It has a top tank & a bottom tank. The reserve switch is so worn I can't see what position is for normal riding & what position to run on reserve. Am I right in thinking it operates a solenoid on the fuel pump? If so, is it possible to operate the switch & ride right through the reserve supply being none the wiser for doing so, or if the switch is returned to normal riding position does it take it off reserve? Anyone know how to check the reserve switch? Any info from anyone with certa…

    hi everyone. i'm getting my bike ready for its MOT due at the end of november, the horn switch on the left handlebar is long gone and the previous owner has replaced it with a big ugly button half way down the left handlebar which is a pain in the ass to reach when i'm angry. is there a replacement available to replace the original or would i have to buy whole new switchgear? - Steve

    Has anyone out there got any views on whether the pipercross air filter upgrade is worth the money? Im not talking about doing the race version, just the £60 road version. I keep reading how it improves sound and BHP? Anyone else got any experience of this? Easy to fit? P.S Got a tug from the 'old bill' today.     I,ve got a problem ! Power delivery on my YZF750 seems very "flat". When I turn on the ignition, Idon,t hear theservo motor working. I,ve removed the EXUP valve cover and when I turn the pulley clockwise, then turn on the ignition, the servo closes the pulley. Am I right in assuming the cables just need adjusting/lubricating ? When I turn on the ignition, should the valve open & close? Any help appreciated!

    hi everyone. ive got a little high-performance air filter for my Yamaha DT50MX to help it breathe a bit better, to mount it i would need to remove the airbox to allow enough clearence to mount it onto the carb throat. but the original airbox also holds the battery and a few other bits and pieces and also forms part of the rear mudguard. so i can't remove it without extensive modification. i was thinking of putting a 90* rubber boot on the carb so that i could mount the filter sticking up between the carb and airbox, does anyone know where i can find such a device and would it cause major problems if i fitted it instead of just putting the filter straight onto the ca…

    hi my daughter bought a TW125 '99 some weeks ago and it was running fine. Now it will not start and makes a loud noise when the electric starter button is pressed. We have taken the starter motor apart and checked the bearings and brushes all ok the starter motor runs very smoothly by itself. Replaced the starter clutch with a kit consisting of three springs, three spring holders and what look like three roller bearings. once again no luck. jump started the bike and it runs fine. battery is ok the only thing i noticed was some (heat) discolouration on the large starter gear near the central hub where the starter clutch engages. could this …

    Does anyone know where I could get a restrictor kit for a diversion 600? I've just passed my A2 and a friend can lend me a 600 to try out but only if I get the kit! Would I be able to fit it myself or do you require the garage too? Thanks for any help.

    Hi I have just put a 1989 XJ600 back on the road after it has been standing for a number of years, I have got it running ok and it accelerates fine up to about 50 to 60 MPH and then it seems reluctant to go any faster does anyone out there recognise the symptoms if so any help would be gratfully accepted Thanks Gary

    hi, when i turn on the ignition on my fzs1000 yamaha 04 .the exup servo under the tank vibrates " crackles " for a few seconds before it appears to click off . is this normal ?. the rev counter as read in the haynes manual does not show any error. as regards the fuel tank does it matter if the overflow & breather hoses get mixed up

    Does anyone no any websites for yamaha dt 125re parts ???????? i have a dt125re and from the day i bought i have alot of trouble with it. The starter was broke so got a new one got it fitted and the thing wont start all the time and when it does it goes and when i stop the bike cuts of iv cleaned the carb but i dnt think its getting a gd spark i put a new plug in it does any one else no what it could be. I dont no alot about bikes has u can tell with all the question lol Thanks

    Hi, having trouble with my bike. Everything goes well until you open up. it looses all power and comes to a stop but continues to idle. Seems to happen just before the powerband. I did clean the carb but no luck. Could it be the jets? The bike has been standing in the garage for a year. Any help or tips will be appreciated.
