Hi all ...new to the site. I own a 88 plate fz 600 that's been stood some years but i am in the middle of resurecting. However today i came to bleed the rear brake and both bleed nipples were seized resulting in them shearing off.My question is this does anyone know if a rear caliper off an fzr600 is the same as mine?? as getting parts seems to be like sourcing rocking horse poo or has anyone got a caliper spare that is for sale ? thanks in advance Gray

Hi guys, iv got a tzr 50 and after changing a waterpump and not touching any wires i have had no spark at all. My girlfriends dad came round my house last night and we got alot of spark out of it(by messing with wires and pushing them together), before it used to spark once every 6 seconds but now it is sparking how it should but it does not stay constant all the time and is not enough to power the bike. We have tried a new coil, tested sidestand switch, and the little black boxes with 4 pins coming out of them. When we messed with the little box (not cdi) next to the flasher relay it seemed to be better at sparking, we found that 1 of the connectors that join together a…

Hi all. I'm havin problems with my YBR 125. The back wheel is very stif. I dont know if the break pad are locked (drum) I can move the wheel with effort. I noticed it while out riding today. When I stopped I tryed to push it and I thought the break was on. I managed to ride home with it with no burning smells but with a slight loss of performance (if I can use this word while talking about a YBR). I checked the chain and sprockets. The front sprocket was heavily clogged with gunk I cleaned this out but the whel is still stiff. Any ideas? Cheers Jimbo

Hi everybody, hope somebody can help. My sons SR125 recently decided to mash the exhaust valve and guide - thanks to his innability to look at the oil level! One replacement cylinder head later it has developed a habit of snapping the top of the inlet valve - obviously at the weakest part where the groove gets clamped into by the collets. Can anybody suggest what could be causing this strange problem? The oil supply is fine, all springs are OK, the gaps are set according to good old Mr Haynes' manual, but most of all, the valve has complete and unrestrcted access for the full extent of travel. So far as I can tell the cam chain is fine and tensioned correctly, and …

hi folks, wonder if anyone can help with this one. Indicators all work (no blown bulbs, standard 21W bulbs, all wiring is good) battery fully charged. When either L or R indicators are switched on, the first two or three flashes are at the correct speed, and then the flash speed increases rapidly until they are almost on continually. Both F and R, either side, any engine speed. Bad earth somewhere? Flasher relay? Or something else? It really only become a problem since I got all the indicators working for MoT a month ago and subsequently got into the habit of using them regularly Cheers, Nigel

I bought a 900 Diversion earlier this year. I am very pleased with it apart from the headlight, which is poor. Has anyone any experience or knowledge of HID conversions? Do they actually work? Are they legal / safe? Do they cause any problems - e.g. over heating of wiring / connectors? If HID is not suitable, does anyone have any other tips on how the headlamp can be improved? Thanks for your help. Malcott

hi guys. i've just got a 58plate Xt125R in blue. brike it great only problem is that the front light is on dipped beam, and will not switch to full, and the indicator lights are not showing anything. full and dipped are not displaying, allthough they are working as on start up they do light up. the dealership has said they think its loose wires or something that they will need to look at it. do you guys agree?
