Going to tour on my FZ6 and need to add saddlebags. Need help on locating saddlebag supports or do we just need to make a set ?? Have several short trips planned for early spring, but at least one long one in mid August from Okla to Colorado Thanks for any help

Hello, My Yamaha TZR 50 cuts out when i put it into gear, it starts fine in neutral and when i put it into gear it cuts out, does anyone know what the problem is? and how it could be fixed? thanks in advance

i had to take my exhaust of my E reg RXS100 in order to remove the baffle to clean which had become stuck. when i was replacing the exhaust, a small metal object fell out at the down pipe end of the exhaust. the only way to describe it is like a piece of metal rod about 10mm long and about 7mm thick and i dont have a clue what it could be for or if i will damage the engine/exhaust running it without it in place. any ideas anyone????? would it be some sort of restrictor and i have inadvertantly deristricted it???

hello i just bought my first proper road bike 2000 R6 mint 8000 miles got it home in van and i think the clutch is slipping , when its picking up 9k rpm there is a dodgey burning clutch smell can anybody give us sort of cost you looking at for a new clutch fitted i live north scotland any help would be great . i did test drive when i looked at it it was fine could anyone reccommend were to buy clutch and which 1 , many thanks for any help

Hi Guys The young lad came back on the bike last night and the seat wont open. The key turns and u can hear the catck sounding like its working but the seat wont move.......anyone know how to get around this or how to get at the cable, thanks in advance.

Aye is all hapnin tday.. Like malta tkkr. kicked the husky 430 few times the day .. misfired [kickbacked ] big time then no compression. whipped of head ... then wen turning over "" piston go-in up & down--- put fingers on top o piston "" canstop it and still turn the clutch housing and crank gear,,, Barrel off --- can lift piston up down and crank gear [ clutch basket etc,] turns ,, but if i grab clutch . lack o" drive ... summat stripped or at worst crankshaft...???

Hi all Lent my DT250(1981) to my brother while I was away came back and found this Cheeky twat says it was ok when he used it,anyway apart from the broken piston and rings the is a grove in the barrel,should be alright if I go a couple of sizes up on the rebore but was thinking could I put the Barrel of the Dt400 on and have 400cc bike instead of 250cc also if putting 400 barrel on is ok would I have to use the 400 head Cheers all

hi everyone i have a dt125x & i need too respray my plastic panels as they where given to a resprayer & they look a right mess a he didnt prepare the panels first..so i need too do them my self any ideas what is the best cans of paint too get thanx alza here is a cpl of pics of some panels..

I've just bought a non running, 94 diversion from the back of some blokes shed, and it wont start. I have fitted a new coil, battery, and found the starter switch wire was corroded, so have replaced it. When I press the start button, no click, just the oil light comes on. When I bridge the solenoid, it does turn over. What should I check next? Can I test the relays?

Hi everyone. Would like to add a rev counter to my DT50MX like they do on some of the RD50s' and was told the DTs' block was machined to take the rev counter drive but just didnt have the attachment nescessary to do so. so, where abouts can i find the rev counter drive on the engine block? (pics would be helpful) regards Steve

just wondering if anyone has removed the restrictor pipe out of sr 250 front pipe ? cut and weld i spose ?? unless theres an easier way apart from buying complete new pipe as putting upswept reverse megaphone on

Hi, I just got a '88 YZ250 with an FMF Fatty pipe,a FMF powercore silencer, and a DG Rear shock and was wondering how much horsepower, torque, ect.., it put out. I also wanted to know if it was worth the $300 I paid for it. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Hi there. Im having an annoying problem with my bike. Basically the battery runs down when stuck in traffic iddling - is this normal? I was stuck in traffic the other day for about 40 minutes, constant idling foot on the brake, and the check engine light lit and the bike started running poorly. I think the battery is discharging when not moving. I have quite a high electrical load, electrical items list like this: Phone charger - 500mah heated gloves (!) 2.2 amps. garmin zumo sat nav - ???mah hid headlights - shoud be 35 watts so less than originals! Digital tacho/speedometer - unkown draw again Now the voltage is shown on the digital tach when riding.…

I have an RD 350 LC with the YPVS engine in it, i am having troble with the idleing, the left hand carb is fine no probs, it will deliver fuel to the right carb with out any problems, the jets are all clear, when starting the bike from cold it will supply fuel with the choke out but when it warms up and you turn the choke off it leans out and stops supplying fuel, but it will run fine at any other revs, help anyone got any ideas

Hi all, New to the forum and have just brought my first bike a Yamaha YZF 750 R but its in bits. One of the bits that are missing are the yokes. Does any one know where I can get these from or what other models I could use? Merry Christmas, Chalky P.s I'll try and get some pics up later.
