My it250 is makeing a top end engine niose it not very loud, i was just wondering if the engine is naturally that loud or is there a problem? Thankss

Hi Guys, Ive got a 1990 fzr1000 Exup, i want to do some mods to it and ive got my heart set on fitting a new seat unit and a twin underseat exhaust like the 2004 r1. Anyone know if this is possible?? Cheers

hi all, new to the site but i have been searching the forum on answers to my problem. i have a 1995 fzr600r , the problem i have is that the bike has developed an annoying clicking / rattle appears to be coming from the front wheel?. would be grateful if anyone could shed any light on this, most recently put new c&s on as originally thought it was that also new oil filter, plugs etc. the bike has done 34k been serviced regularly . i did change the fork seals about 2 months ago wasn't long after that it developed this problem. wtat makes me think it could be discs or speedo drive is that the sound is not always there but when it is it's quite loud and as if it's rotati…

Hi could anyone tell me if the YZF750R 1995 link pipe is seperate from the exhaust can or is it a one piece thing. Also what is the diameter (hole size) of the end can to link pipe if it has one. Thanks

I have a new royal star, when in 4th gear at 90km and going into 5th it chugs. I was told that 5th gear is over ride and I should be over 100km before going into 5th. I would like to know if anyone else was given the same information. Thanks

I just purchase my 06 Royal Star and I'm looking for exhaust and a jet kit for it. My dealer tells me that he can't find any thing that will find this bike. Can any one tell me where I can find these parts if possible... Thank you..

Just bought a 90 fj1200 it didnt have the airbox. Only #2 exhaust gets hot I checked compression about 130 in all four holes.Spark plugs have spark when touched to head. I have the CLYMER Manual I have removed the carbs and I will clean them all. It has stock pipes on it. My Question is if i put pods on it because I dont what to find or mess with the air box how should I jet it meaning what kind and size. And will I have to put an exhaust on it. I have another new bike for riding but I wanted another fast bike. This one was cheap. Thanks Grandfat

Hi to one and all, I'm a newbie at this posting game so if I am doing wrong, please tell me. I have a Fazer 600 on a Y plate and decided to change the fork oil while I was replacing the front tyre. To you techies out there, I got to the stage where you fully compress the tube into the slider to fill up with oil, and HEY PRESTO, the tube will not come back up/out of the slider. I've tried everything but throwing it !!!. will someone out there, please be kind enough and show me the error of my ways. Many thanks for reading.

Hi all, Ok lets get down and dirty here what lube do you use, I have been looking around for the best lube for chains and springs and well everything that needs it for my ybr125. After work one day i took my self to the great halfords and started looking at what they had, i was a little confused. So me being me i asked a few members of staff to come over so i can get a some different views, after about 10 mins i left with some Castrol LM Grease now before using it i wanted to google my new buy to see if there is any down sides or if its going to blow up when i get to 30 mph. I've picked up some Yamaha XT125 Hand Guards from a breakers and although I'm assured they are for the XT125 I cant see how they would fit! Does anybody have: 1) Fitting instructions / help? 2) Any recommended alternatives if these are the wrong ones! Many thanks

My girlfriend has an imported XJR400 which we believe was manufactured in 1993. The chassis number is A4hm-005620 can anyone help me indentify the model from the chassis number as I keep looking for parts and not sure if it is a 4hm 1,2,3,4,5,6. Don't want to waste time and money buy the wrong bits. Hope someone can help me.

hi, i recently got a 81-82 yamaha it250 and there is a problem with the killswitch, The problem is that the killswitch sometimes works and sometimes doesnt. I brought a whole new killswitch from yamaha and it still didnt fix the problem. If anyone could help that be awesome.
