Hi there I'm a new member, and I hope you can help. I have a 1997 Sr 125 which runs like a dream. However, I notice that the rear brake light keeps getting stuck on. I had the drum brake stripped and cleaned, but this is still happening. Could anyone help me and suggest what might be wrong? Also, there's a small bit of rust on the front wheel rim. I was planning to try Wurst's Rost Off to clean it. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

hi all. new to the forum. i was hoping there might be someone who could help with a DT50 LC year 2000. i have looked for a workshop manual on the internet but can't find one anywhere. me and my son have just bought the bike to do up and show him a bit about how things work. i am missing a front brake caliper and was wondering if the same caliber was used on a diffrent model. bits for this bike seem to be as rare as hens teath. any help would be much appreciated.

My 98 DT125R was stolen from right outside my house last week. Luckily the Police found it within 24 hours. Unfortunately, they found it on it's side in the River Thames, mostly submerged apart from one end of the handlebars. I've been told it was only in the water for a few hours at most. Whatever lowlife nicked it also ripped off the ignition barrel, headlamp, clocks, speedo & rev counter cables, and smashed up the petrol cap. Apart from replacing the missing/damaged parts, I'm assuming that I'm going to have to completely strip, clean and rebuild the bike before I can put it back on the road. Has anyone here come across a situation like this? Are there…

I haven't used my 2000 Fazer 600 for several weeks. There is some juice in the battery, but I'm getting a loud buzzing sound from around the fuse box/battery area when I press the start button. Any ideas what they might be and what I need to do? My owners manual is in storage as we've just moved house - I assumed it was a 6volt system but I see other postings talking about 12volt - can you enlighten me? Thanks in advance NickB

I have an FJ1200 - 1992 - and I am trying to locate a monoshock unit for it at the best price, but I have no idea what model the bike is. Can anybody help?? I have the Chassis number (of course) but my local Yam dealer isn't interested in telling me what model it is unless I pay him £690 for a new monoshock. I have sourced them MUCH cheaper, just need to know the model!!

Hey everyone. I'm living in Mexico City right now and got overly anxious and bought a SR 250 I shouldn't have. It was kinda of a mess and I missed a bunch of details when looking it over. I really needed the bike to get around. Traffic hear is horrendous. Anyway, it's running, fairly well considering the problems I've had to fix. Non-original carb I think is the biggest culprit for the less than stellar performance. I was in the process of restoring my Honda CB550 Four in Chicago and she was much more powerful than this little 250, so my opinion may be off - comparing a 550 to a 250. Still, I see plenty of guys riding around mexico on 150 and 125's …

I have a UK mk3 RD125LC YPVS which obviously has no working power valve. I have a friend at work who used to have an import RD 125 YPVS and has found a spare power valve servo with all the cables and (excuse my ignorance, I don't know what it's called) the bit that fits to the barrel and works the power valve. It all looks like it will fit my bike - there's a bracket on the frame to fit the servo, there's a plug on the loom to wire it in and the other bit looks like it fit stright onto the barrel, but he thinks (he can't be sure) that his CDI was blue where mine is black. I'm tempted to strap it all to my bike and see what happens, but I'm worried it might shat i…
