    I have a 2001 Yamaha Aerox that i have just bought, not in the best conditions if im honest but it starts, it can rev sometimes but not enough for it to move, it has a 70 kit fitted at some point and a doppler exhaust, 4.9g rollers, 21mm carb with size 86 main jet but im not sure what else, ive cleaned out the carb and jets and pit in some fresh oil. Could anyone please help me!!

    Help needed, just bought a 2001 xj900s, the bike is excellent but the fuel gauge wont work, have done the visual thing and yes there is juice in the tank any suggestions?

    Hi there I have a FZ6 Fazer 2004 which I have just bought here in Gibraltar. When the bike is warm the idle can suddenly drop and sometimes cuts out. The TPS was changed in 2007 and the diagnostics on it show the TPS to be working with no skipping of digits. It has done 20,000km. I have tried fuel injector cleaner but would appreciate your opinion. Cheers Gibfazer

    Hey My 2009 XJ600 Is still restricted to 33 BHP because of a throttle body restriction , which prevents full throttle power . Its an official Yamaha restriction , the Standard throttle body was removed and replaced with the restrictive one . They gave me the original throttle body and told me to bring it back once my restricted licence is over . I have now lost the original throttle body and have been told ( by Yamaha dealer ) there's nothing they can do, the throttle body cannot be ordered or replaced . So am I wasting my time looking for a throttle body for this machine ? Would a Breakers be my best bet ? I can remember what the throttle body looks like and…

    hi all i need to make an adjustable butterfly valve for the air intake on the xvs bobber but not too sure the best way to go about it.... i can make the round plate no probs....its just how to connect it to the "axle?"(the bit that controls the movement) and how to make it so i can control how far it opens or closes ect, the best idea iv come up with so far is to try and cut a bit of studding in half (legnthways) then wedge the plate in between, then stick a nut on each end to wedge it in the inlet pipe, but then comes the problem of controlling how far it opens... cause its replacing the original intake i need to move it at like 1mm increments to get the best ou…

    hi there all many thx for ur time and help i got the old girl going -started the battery was fine it was the starter button that seems 2 be the prob i bypassed the cylonoid and she started i think the starter bud has gone SO I DONT NO HOW TO CHANGE THE TOPIC FROM FROZEN GUY N GIRLS BUT SHE IS RUNNING THX AGAIN

    hi sorry that the first quistion is a workshop quistion but when my bike is in neutral and the light comes on to say it is but half the time its not in neutral its in first and then obv stalls was just woundering if there is any reason for this or if anybody else's ybr does this any help be great cheers

    hey everyone!!! I am in the middle of installing a transmission into my rt180, tonight i installed it and all the gears meshed properly the lifters are in the right spot in between gears. But when i put my case together and installed the clutch and all the outer gears i cannot shift through the gears... It spins but i cannot get it to click into gear with the shifter.... Does anyone know the problem. I dont wanna pull the case apart again. Can it be something with the shift drum and the stopper arms? if someone has had this problem before could u please give me some insight on what it could be? thanks in advance sean

    a few days ago I visited my uncle and he has in his garage what i'v identified as a 1982 XS250R mostly together; the heads off and its sat for a little while but hes gotten it in a trade and the condition actualy looks fairly good for the age of the bike. however the issue is the 1982 appears to be a completely different shape to the rest of the XS250 series; while the bike is cosmeticly complete I don't mind ghetto mods if need be but how much of the engine is interchangeable from the earlier bikes? given the heads are off i'd be keen to do a 400 barrel conversion to get the extra oomph and stealth but if im going to be limited to 1 or 2 years production (alot of the …

    Hello, I have purchased a DT50 BIG BORE kit for my bike and Hy-Tech reed however on the new barrel there is no 3 pins for the reeds to sit on, Where on my old barrel there was 3 pins. Need some help asap as its stook in my garage. Thanks for your time James

    hi my dt 175 mx is difficult to start when cold. it starts 2nd or 3rd kick runs for a few seconds and stops. it does this about 5 times and then its fine. ive cleaned the carb and tryed another choke but no good. its got new coil new plug. anybody got any ideas.

    hey everyone!!! just need a little advice on something.... Im in the middle of rebuilding the bottem end on one of my bikes. Its a RT180 im currently putting it back together and am at a stand still here.. I need to press the crank shaft into the crank case but dont have a puller installer tool for the the job... Was wondering if i put the crankcase in the oven and put the crank and bearing in the freezer for a little while then install it.... Has anyone had any problems with this? and would it work? please get back to me i would like to get it installed soon!!! thanks everyone
