    Hi, my boy has a YQ50 Aerox and had to have it brought back home on saturday on the back of the lorry. It was running fine, it has got a 70cc mollossi kit on it and all the rest of the things to make it go fast but i can not get it to start. I have a good spark, i have fuel getting to the carb, but the spark plug does not seem to get socked after kicking over! With further investigation i took the air filter off and it feels to me that it is blowing instead of sucking which lead me to the reeds...1 side was not seating and i cannot get it to seat...is it possible the block has deformed? anyway found another block which looked fine but still cant get it to fire.....any …

    Hey there, my bike has a brand new battery, brand new solenoid, and a brand new starter. When I try to start it all I here is the solenoid clicking, I get no response from anything else. Anyone else have this problem or have an idea of how to fix it? I was thinking that maybe it was a starter relay or something, but I am not sure where they are. That was my only guess. Any help would be great, thanks!

  3. I have a 2001 DT125r with just over 6000 on clock. I have changed exhaust to full 'big one' system, changed spark plug, new air filter, open power valve, located reed switch and taped it up, new battery and acceleration is loads better but still won't go over 55mhp, any help or ideas Many Thanks Ben.

    Hi guys... had a topic about this tzr 250 of mine 2 weeks ago. A first didnt want to start, but with every bodies help it finally did..... but new problem poped up. It seems to be reving fine and very high, but ones you go on the road it feels as if its running on a third of its power. The jets and carbs are clean, the needle positions are on the 2nd slot from the top, i already tried moving it to the 3rd, problem only get worse. reed valves seem to be fine, only thing that seems strange is that the one exhaust seems to be smoking more than the other? dont know if it relevant? Its just this power issue that i have right now. but like i said it revs beautifully...

    Seeking some help with a problem with my R1 2007 4C8 From cold bike starts, runs fine all the time. Normally drive to petrol station 0.3m form home, fill up then go to start, the bike fires up but dies straight away, yellow engine light comes on at the point just before it cuts out Will only stay fired up if revved above 3k ish. Happens with side stand down or up, in gear or not in gear. I have tried putting stand up and down in case it’s the sensor, switching ignition on & off to reset system, in gear rocked the bike to see if this helps, but none of these cure it.     Hey guys and gals, Do any of you know of a good company that will make me a custom clutch cable? Or know of a bit of kit that uses a roughly 2ft long clutch cable? Just that im now going to toy with the idea of doing my suicide shifter for the draggy. Cheers Noise

    Hi Guys, I recently bought a full set of brand new bolts for my bike because a lot are rusty and old. I have noticed a fair few nuts and bolts are just stuck in the thread regardless of how many times I attempt to unscrew them. Please can some one tell me how to remove these threaded screws and bolts? Thanks.

  13. hey guys i got a yzf 250 here an "04"modlle that i dont think is quite right and im looking for any advice or info anybody could possibly shed on this problem, like i said above it has a problem with the exaust glowing red after a cold start and 20 seconds of idle , now its not my bike but its a freinds he only bought it a few days ago and we where planning a ride this weekend and i was going to drag the old "77"dt175e out and give a run for his money ..... but id thought it would be safer to try and see if this is normal or not...? a few people i have read about said that it is normal for the exaust to glow bright red but i would of expected that after a 5-10 minit…

  15. I've recently bought a 1997 XVS 650 Dragstar and want to customise it. Can anyone tell me what I'd need to do to put a considerably wider rear wheel/tyre on the back end.     I have a 1987 Venture royal that has a over heating problem. The temp gauge runs up into the red zone after 30 minutes of riding and I'm losing antifreeze some place (no leaks on the ground and no signs of it in the oil), having to refill the top inch of the radiartor and the over flow bottle once ever 2 weeks .Anyone have any thoughts?     Would be grateful if someone could help me with the following query.... I've bought a DT which is a box of bits to restore. The frame number is 18G-101037. I have no V5 or a working engine. I am looking to restore it, and possibly customise it etc... I thought it was a UK spec model, but the previous owner tells me that it was an import. I need to source the usual things like tank, side panels etc... Tried the local dealer but he can't help. Is there anywhere on line that I can check to see which model this please.     Hi all, Has anyone made a waterproof switch, housing etc for use on the handlebars? Looking to knock something together as I have not been able to find any waterproof switches anywhere. Looking to connect this onto an XVS 950 Midnight Star to control the Spotlights. I have all the other wiring sorted from fuse to relay to adequate wires. Thanks, Andrew.

  19. I have a 1974 Yamaha TX500. The problem in that if I shift into anything higher than second gear(when it’s warm), the shifter locks up and prevent me from going back into neutral or first. Sometimes the gearshift will let me stay in the higher gears, sometimes the lever locks and won’t move till the bike is cool. At that point I can put the bike on the center stand, rotate the rear tire and go through all five of the gears just fine. I’ve changed the oil, replaced the clutch cable and adjusted the two clutch adjustment points multiple times. I've pulled off the left case cover exposing the clutch "screw" mechanism. 1st question.     All has been well for the past few weeks, and I was thinking last night it was time to sell the car. This morning it started first kick, but lost power after a few minutes, then I couldn't start it. I just went out and started it, (on film) and it cut out in neutral. - see link Not sure what to think, it wasn't sounding that great in idle either.
