These are genuine clips from Dublin City Council complaint letters - so read and enjoy how others put their thoughts into words... 1. My bush is really overgrown round the front and my back passage has fungus growing in it. 2. He's got this huge tool that vibrates the whole house and I just can't take it anymore. 3. It's the dogs mess that I find hard to swallow. 4. I want some repairs done to my cooker, as it has backfired and burnt my knob off. 5. I wish to complain that my father hurt his ankle very badly when he put his foot in the hole in his back passage. 6. ...and their 18year old son is continually banging his balls against my fence. 7. I wish to report …

I've got a YBR 125CC 2010 black model. I got it just over a week ago. My friend is getting a YZF-R125. Obviously his is just under £2000 more but i've noticed that the speedo and everything is better quality. I'm just wondering which is the better bike, and what's the speed difference? Both accel and top speed. I don't want him overtaking me all the time

Heya peeps The winter has come, i am now driving a car, the XJ and Jawa sit in the car park of RAF benson collecting snow and various furry critters... and i have this strange sensation to get myself another toy, the Jawa now runs on both cylinders and with the exception of the broken headlight (which im trying to source a replacement for) will be on fleabay soon to make space for another toy... and on that topic, i have been browsing ebay the past few days... yes thats right, foamy has gained computer literacy... but anyway, i digress. i was looking through ebay, and i saw what can only be described as a wet dream, it made me weak at the knees and i started dribbl…

Aloha from Hawaii everyone, Newbie here. I just bought a 1977 yamaha XS 360 and I'm about to embark in a project turning it into a cafe. I am one hell of a tough time finding the HEADER part of the exhaust system. My header pipes are rusted and butt ugly. I've tried eBay, but found pipes are just as bad as mine. I've ran into a lot of exhaust stuff from MAC systems but are all for the XS400. Now here's my question. Does the XS400 exhaust/ header pipes fit on the XS 360? Please HEEELLPP! Any leads to good stock header pipes and mufflers or aftermarket exhaust would greatly be appreciated. Again, the question is: Does the exhaust system (headers and muf…

Recently bought a secondhand Fazer 600 that was originally imported. Being a mature rider returning after a few years away I am thoroughly enjoying the ride....... However why are the headlamps so dim?!?!?!?! Left one is a dipped single beam Right one is a double : dipped beam 55W and Full beam 60W However the right dipped beam doesn't work and not surprising as there are only two wires in to a three pin lamp! Has anyone managed to wire up the missing dipped beam as I understand from a dealer that they were never connected..... So what's the point of having it. An Extra 55W of Illumination would be a lifesaver in the dark and wet!

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. In fact this is my first post in any forum. My son recently purchased a 1973 Yamaha 125. We need parts for it and I am having trouble figuring out if it is an AT1 or AT3. The model number is AT1-228121 so I assumed AT1 but I have been told by motorcycle parts places that Yamaha didn't make a 125 AT1 in 73 but they did make an AT3. Of course they couldn't tell me how to tell what series I had. Could somebody please tell me how I can tell. I also have a 1978 Yamaha 250 that I thought was a DT but again, I am being told there was no 78 DT 250's. How can I tell what series is this machine also? Thanks to all who check this out.

Oh god were do I begin. They dont pay road tax, yet they have signs made up for them to tell drivers that they are about, thats got to cost a fair few bob right? To my knowledge, they dont have any insurance if they are in an accident with a vehicle. No anual MOT check, so it could suddenly collapse at any moment. They travel about about negitive 10mph. They require you to slow down to pritty much a stop while passing them with the eivl look they give you. Dog owners are required to pick up their dog`s shite, or are fined 80 quid. Horse shit is about 10 times the size, yet arent required to do anything about it if some plops out onto the roa…

WHY? Same old question. And all you will manage is a 125 that sounds like a wasp on crack. Louder pipes? Get a bigger bike. Until then, deal with teh fact that you're a learner and will sound like an insect with a volume control wherever you go. It's all part of the experience. Friday rant over.

hi peeps i am now starting to remedy th elist of faults produced during my '89 XJ600s' MOT, the mudguard has now been secured with a custom bracket fabricated to hold it in place, fork seals have arrived, waiting to be changed. now the headstock bearings, they arent notchy but they need adjusting... how do i get to them to adjust them? i can see one of the nuts on the top of the headstock but i cannot get to the locknut which (i assume) is on top of it under a small plastic fairing between the handlebars which i cannot see a way of removing. help? -Steve

well at ten to three this morning i was woken by the sound of one of my bikes being moved i heard the chains rattle and my security lights come on lighting up the rear of the house like blackpool illuminations, i woke my son up and armed with baseball bats went to confront the two lads, we only made one mistake going out in our boxers and not putting our jeans on. of course they were off like a shot and only having boxers on and no shoes there was only so far i was going to chase them, the police of course were so helpful by informing me nothing was actually taken as if i didnt know that so there was little they could do (for a change i replied ) oh bu…

Now I know this sounds like a stupid question but I’ve almost had my bike stolen 3 times since the end of may, the first time they tried dragging it down the street with a chain attached and seeing that they couldn’t get far they decide to damage the side of the bike with a knife and scratch off the transfers; I’ve since fitted a ground anchor to where I keep it overnight The second time I was parked about 6 meters from the sixth forms security guard and yet they managed sneak past him when he was on his break, 4 15 year old boys decided to pick it up and see how far they could walk it down the road it’s only a ybr 125 and weighs 125kg, I had a disk lock on it at th…
