My insurance expires next month and my renewal quote from MCE is £200 up this year. When I looked on the comparison websites, MCE come in at around £100 cheaper than my renewal quote. Is this a common thing? In another note, I would like to ask what you think... My insurance was £650 last year with 2 yrs NCB. Hi Everyone, I’m organising a group buy for silicone kits to replace the 9 coolant hoses on the FZS600 98 - 03. Our beloved Fazers are getting on a bit now and the coolant hoses are often forgotten about when upgrading or replacing parts. No company currently makes a kit for our bikes and no one will unless we can get this first order sorted. I've never really gave much thought to wearing a Hi-Vis before but things have kinda changed and I've realised that it's not easy for a biker on the road. If people don't see me in daylight, what chance is there at night? So I've decided to wear a Hi-Vis while riding during night time. Do any riders here wear a Hi-Vis and did it make any difference?

I have aquired a V reg xj600 as a project bike but unfortunately the previous owner has cut off the rear of the frame ( I think he was intending to build a street fighter). Will the frame from an earlier model fit the bike or did they change frames from year to year? Any help or information will be appreciated.

Hi All, I'm going to do the unthinkable (for me) and with the help of a clued-up mate, change the oil and filter on my 1998 Thunder Cat. I've had a look on ebay, and was wondering which materials to use. Should i go for K+N oil filter, a 'regular' oil filter, or a Yamaha filter? Also, which oil do you guys recommended? Would this be possible to fit on my XT125x because i don't like how far my domino throttle grip goes back. I think it must be a full turn or 3/4 turn. Hey Guys jonny here and i know its stupid but my Yamaha TZR 50 Has a Really "tinny" Sounding exhaust... its a 2 stroke 50cc, and i really hate the noise, i see little 50cc peds now a days that sound better, i just wanted to know if theres an exhaust i could get that would give it a bassier sound to it, more like a roar instead of a scream. I hav my tdr 125 thats i love two much to get rid and am on my second fazer that i uese daily love it but i wanted a sports bike and had my heart set on an r1 but test drove a few and the r6 and didnt like them so gave up looking but then i came accross a honda cbr f4i . And had to have it . Its black my kinda colour and my god does it handle well . I think it was the seat that got me its like the seat on the fazer well thats me sorted for the sunday spins durin the summer if we get one in this country

Hi folks, is there anywhere on the bike to find the key number? I have one original Yamaha key but it doesn't have the number on it. Thought it would be easiest to order via the key number. Thanks Dave

Hey everyone, I bought my second dt lanza after my first one ( perfect condition) was stolen out of my backyard at night. I struggled in the beginning with a lot less power than my first bike had and a so called mechanic here told me its just because of the compression and that a piston ring change would solve the problem. So he did this and it was a lot better, until today.... Luckily I was just going around in town, when the engine made a different and not so pleasing noise, I switched into neutral and then the engine died, when I tried to kick start it, the starter didn't let me kick it, there is just a stop and I'm afraid that the piston ring broke and fell into…

I've just bought a 1992 Diversion 600, and it does everything I thought it would. However, when i start it the oil light comes on after a short time, stays on for a few minutes, and then disappears. There's no sign that it's using oil. Is this to do with the levels not registering until it's slightly warm, or have I got a problem? Any info from 600 owners would be very welcome, Thanks

Drivin to work dismorning my headlight went so with annoynce to other people on the road i had go the rest of my journey with my full beam on .... getting flashed and some givin me the finger . But what i want to no is wich is my head light bulb as when i turn on my lights i have two dims then nothing then when i turn full beam on both bulbs come on so i cannot tell wich is my headlamp bulb ???
