Hi all I'm taking my CBT this Saturday and apparently I'm doing it on a 50cc geared or auto I don't know because I haven't a 125cc entitlement on my licence but the instructor is telling me that if I pass I then send my licence off to add a 125cc entitlement and then I can ride a 125cc with L plates no passengers and no motorway is this right because they knew my situation before I paid for the course please could all of you try and help me out on this one cheers Gerry

Hello, I was just wondering if I have to mix 2-stroke oil with my petrol? I haven't been mixing oil with my petrol but I do have oil in the engine itself. I'm taking it out this weekend so I don't want me wrecking the engine because I don't mix oil with petrol. Thanks! I'm talking about my DT-125

I have pretty well bought this bike, getting delivered next weekend. Question I have is that all the pics I've seen of these bikes are red or white and have the wide grey swoosh on the tank and side covers. The bike I'm looking at is all black and just has yamaha in print on the tank. It doesnt look to have been painted or dropped and has 40000 miles on it. New here so haven't fiqured how to post a picture of it yet. Any input would be great. Thanks

My insurance expires next month and my renewal quote from MCE is £200 up this year. When I looked on the comparison websites, MCE come in at around £100 cheaper than my renewal quote. Is this a common thing? In another note, I would like to ask what you think... My insurance was £650 last year with 2 yrs NCB. In March a van reversed into me at traffic lights and this claim was paid by third party's insurance. But when it came to renew, my renewal quote is £850 with 3 yrs NCB...??? Hi Everyone, I’m organising a group buy for silicone kits to replace the 9 coolant hoses on the FZS600 98 - 03. Our beloved Fazers are getting on a bit now and the coolant hoses are often forgotten about when upgrading or replacing parts. No company currently makes a kit for our bikes and no one will unless we can get this first order sorted. I've never really gave much thought to wearing a Hi-Vis before but things have kinda changed and I've realised that it's not easy for a biker on the road. If people don't see me in daylight, what chance is there at night? So I've decided to wear a Hi-Vis while riding during night time. Do any riders here wear a Hi-Vis and did it make any difference?

I have aquired a V reg xj600 as a project bike but unfortunately the previous owner has cut off the rear of the frame ( I think he was intending to build a street fighter). Will the frame from an earlier model fit the bike or did they change frames from year to year? Any help or information will be appreciated.

Hi All, I'm going to do the unthinkable (for me) and with the help of a clued-up mate, change the oil and filter on my 1998 Thunder Cat. I've had a look on ebay, and was wondering which materials to use. Should i go for K+N oil filter, a 'regular' oil filter, or a Yamaha filter? Also, which oil do you guys recommended? hi all can anybody explain to me how the starter motor on a dt 125 r 2005 is wired up? just bought bike starter is mullered,but someone has wired starter to frame ..please help

Would this be possible to fit on my XT125x because i don't like how far my domino throttle grip goes back. I think it must be a full turn or 3/4 turn. Hey Guys jonny here and i know its stupid but my Yamaha TZR 50 Has a Really "tinny" Sounding exhaust... its a 2 stroke 50cc, and i really hate the noise, i see little 50cc peds now a days that sound better, i just wanted to know if theres an exhaust i could get that would give it a bassier sound to it, more like a roar instead of a scream. I hav my tdr 125 thats i love two much to get rid and am on my second fazer that i uese daily love it but i wanted a sports bike and had my heart set on an r1 but test drove a few and the r6 and didnt like them so gave up looking but then i came accross a honda cbr f4i . And had to have it . Its black my kinda colour and my god does it handle well . I think it was the seat that got me its like the seat on the fazer well thats me sorted for the sunday spins durin the summer if we get one in this country
