hey people im toying with the idea of tidying up the rear end of my dt, ive changed indicators to smaller clear lense bulb indicators which has cleaned up the look of the front end but im still not happy with the rear light/plate hanger... anyone point me in the right direction as to what to look for? either an all in one unit or a small led light and tail tidy bracket? as my rear mudgaurd has the light underneith im thinking maybe i could get away with a thin led strip light hopefully with built in numberplate lights. the look im after is basicly to pull all the rear componants up as close to the rear mudgaurd as i can, none of this bulky plastic stuffshowing. …

  6. Wonder if anyone might be able to help. This morning I switched my Sr125 to the reserve, it was very tight and wanted to know for sure it worked before I ran out. Got it moved round and then put it back. Went back out to the bike half hour later and found it had leaked. There is a fuel pipe on the opposite side which doesn't appear to go to anything, this is where it has leaked from. Could this be a bleeder pipe or overflow? Or could this point at a good reason not to use the reserve? The patch of petrol is only about 6 or 7" and doesn't appear to be leaking now its not turned to reserve.

ok if its someone on here i feel guilty..... Xt 125 got a bit ahead of themselves today. Couldnt be arse to play chase after 400mile in the truck. Not to mention using my baby in these awful conditions. Well the next turn they did it again. Im assuming they thought it was another 125. So once the road straightend a little i made like the starship enterprise. Warp 6 mr sulu. Still feel guilty though.

Hi, I have not been biking long, motorbiking that is I have had a push bike for a while, but I have already come across a lot of negative reaction to motorbikes. Is this normal and how do people deal with it? For example people will comment quite freely 'oh you've got a motorbike have you? Death trap.' 'Death trap' seems to be a favourite phrase.... Or I hear comments like, 'oh you are on a bike, you will be under a lorry on your way home.' These are not family members or friends, just random people who stop and pass judgement?? It's not like I have asked for their opinion or anything. Bizarre. Totally bizarre. Like f, you. Do I walk past a chip shop and say to s…

I have just been reading about ETHANOL fuel additives and the fact that we will soon have 10% instead of 5% in the UK, what seems to be the main consensus to all of this is that most old bikes (10 years old and older) will have some problems with this new fuel, my bike is 30+ years old and will need some major fettling to get used to this nasty gunk. First seems to be any bike with a fibre glass tank must use some of the new tank sealer now available, some of you might have already sealed your tank but if you have used anything from the last 5 years it will not protect your tank with this new stuff as it eats away even some older tank sealant then starts on the tank itsel…

I need to clean tank, change oil/filter, install a petcock then I'll see if this beast is worth keeping. Looks like a project.

  19. Hi I have just joined here and in desperation am trying to find a scource in the UK for the idiot bulbs (main beam, oil, ABS and management light bulbs) for a 2003 gen1 FJR1300 part no 4WM-83517-10 BULB (T3.4 14V-80MA) . I would really appreciate any useful answers as to where I could purchase 8 of them. I have managed to get the front nose fairing off but struggling to scource the bulbs? Many Thanks Dave
