Missing the ball bearing went to buy some on eBay but canny work out the right size for the job. I have haynes manual for my bike it mentions the ball bearing in removing clutch plates section but can't find out the right size. Help appreciated.

I went out side at about 20:00 tonight and seen that my bike had moved so I asked the wife if she knew what had happened and she said nothing and came and had a look and on closer look my bike had been moved of its centre stand and was resting against the wall and the steering lock was still on in the left position but the bike had moved strait along so if it had fallen of the stand it could not get to where it was so on a close look on the floor there were wet foot prints on the dry parts of the yard which are larger than mine or the wifes ,there is no damage that I could see in the dark but the steering lock looked loose but is still on,so from now on ill put the bike …

Hi Everyone, Anyone see an ad on Gumtree for a free DT? He's says he had an accident and now wants it to go to a collector...... It's an 03 plate... I've just recently reapplied ACF-50 to my bike and have decided to clean it every Sunday. After I have washed my bike do I need to reapply ACF-50 again, or after every time I wash it? Cheers

So my buddy calls me up and says his Honda Shadow is running like crap and it smells like its running extremely rich. After completing work on one of my bikes i grab tools and make the trip to his house. I have him start the bike and i can tell its running rich because of the famous smell.......but i noticed a different smell with it too. I looked around his garage (which is detached from his house) and noticed he put hay down for some odd reason. First i checked to make sure choke wasn't still pulled......check. This year I will pass my big bike test and I like the look of the bandit 600 but I also like the look of the MT-01 and MY-03 but the passenger seat even I couldn't get my skinny arse on on the MY-01 but that's the look I'm looking for if you get what I'm sweaying as I would rather have a big bike restricted then have a small bike trying to pull two people up and down the hills to get to my house are there any bikes with the same look that you could recommend with similar looks ( hopefully a yamaha as the one I have is pretty bomb proof ). Well a dash down to Preston and back means my garage now has a Virago parked in it. Its bought for my boy so will need put on a rolling road and restricted, but the bike has been restored so wont need any spending for a while. not been on for a while and now running a 650 dragstar which sadly has a bit of a whining top gear and i was just wondering if any one can tell me either just how hard it is to change out the gears and whether its really worth the time and trouble in doing so or how i could go about making it quieter, if such a thing is possible that is. Hi Every One, I have to give a quick mention to Motad. They seem to be selling off a lot of their old new stock on ebay at the moment. Some of it appears to be really cheap. They had an 4-1 system for an XJ550 for £99 buy it now. I just got a 4-1 for my XJ750 for £129 delivered. I'm not trying to advertise for them but these are selling for less than second hand ones should anyone wish to take advantage.

Both bikes are booked in for this week. I've gone over them this weekend and they should both pass, but aren't winter MOTs a pain in the arse. Dont like taking the bikes in covered in winter crap, so the thaw came just in time to unfreeze the hose pipe for a clean up. slid on some ice today and came off my yamaha ybr custom 12 model, scratched the chrome cap on the end of the handle bar on the right and ripped the rubber off the right foot peg, can anyone please tell me where i can buy these parts from please??

I wish I had a nickle for every time someone finds out where I live. I am bombarded with questions about "The Dragon" so here is a basic over view. We locals call it the hill, others may refer to it as the dragon, daddy dragon (yes there is a baby dragon too), hwy 129, tail of the dragon, deals gap and so on.I live about 20 min from it and try to ride there 4x a week. It is 318 curves in an 11 mile stretch. These are switch backs with chicanes and even banking on some of them. You can find excellent footage of it on you tube.
