Hello all I am looking for all the help i can get I am looking for a list or knowledge of what part are interchangeable for my 1985 XJ750 Maxim X my bike is in great shape but cant find anything in Canada for my bike i keep getting good luck that does not help So any help would be great

Evening All I have a 2nd question in as many days... Yam xvs 650 1997 front brake master cylinder kit Does anybody know if/where I can get some new seals for front master cylinder as Yamaha want to charge an arm, a leg and a pint of blood.. In their infinate wisdom Yamaha made these seals VERY special.. My brake seal stockist says that on measuring the 2 seals some dimensions are metric and some imperial My measurements for the 2 seals are... 1st seal (small) is od = 13mm,,,,,id = 5.75mm,,,,,, height = 3.5mm 2nd seal (larger) is od = 13mm,,,,,id = 7.8mm,,,,,,, height = 4mm Hope someone else has had the same problem and found a solution cheers To…

hi all can any one tell me if the starter relay is broken on my bike. when i try to start it all it does is buzzes at the starter relay/positive terminal and you can feel it vibrate. all i have done is change the battery to a new one as old one was goosed.also where do i get a starter relay from? cheers for any advice/help in advance friedegg ps it is a x plate 2000 year

Hello, My name's Steve and im new I live in Derby and am looking into getting a new bike to get me from Derby to Nott's on the weekdays and then out for fun on the weekends. I used to have a Derbi Sender a few years ago but got rid as soon as i got my car license and now see that wasn't such a good idea. I'm potentially looking into getting a WR125X, thinking maybe in black or maybe white. Just looking for some opinions on them really, i will be mod'ing it a little bit, having quite a big background in car modifications so it wont stay stock for too long but im wondering what potential they have as well? Had my dtr stolen from my girlfriends after leaving it in a locked parking zone over night. They came lifted over fence and pushed in half a mile through a field to steal it :(. was just going to nip home at about 10:30 instead i went and locked up and stayed! its in the middle of no where. im very sad was my first bike (or motor vehicle for that matter) and i know i wont find one like it again. i bought it for 950 and it was a wreck. fixed it up mint only just really got it running perfect after purchasing at the end of january. im round the midlands DY postcode area. Ok this may sound really stupid, so i say sorry in advance ...but i have seen bigger bikes ( i.e bigger than 125cc ) going around with L plates and no instructors?...i mean i thought you could only ride 125cc with L plates?....this has been bugging me for a while so am i being daft or am i missing something?

Hi There, Can anyone help me as either I am being daft or previous owner was being even dafter.. I've gat a 650 Dragstar 1997 which I've had for a few months.I had it running on the day I bought it but since then I've had it off the road while I repaired and changed a few things. Back to the question, the petrol tank doesn't have a breather outlet, well at least I can't find one and petrol flow stops after a few seconds unless I remove filler cap. The manaul shows a breather outlet in the top of the tank just behind the large "hole in the tank",, I do have the breather outlet pipe but I don't have any kind of breather outlet in the tank. Need to buy carburetor needle valve assembly for 1974 Yamaha Enduro DT400. Does anybody know where I can purchase these parts?

This thing is a basket case. I bought this engine from some guy who really knew nothing about it. After some research is found that it was a xs500b. Im planning on using it on a go kart if i can get it running. The question i have has to do with the push lever assembly on the clutch. The rod that goes from the assembly into the clutch is missing and/or broke. I found a couple of schematics, but wasn't very useful. Can anyone help? Thanks Chris..

I have a 1994 Yamaha XJ600 SecaII. I'm wanting to convert it into a "Naked Bike" or what many call a "Street Fighter"(Not sure of the difference between the two). I do know there was a naked version of my bike that was specifically sold to Europe but not the States. I tried to hit up Ebay.UK trying to find headlamps and gauges. But no luck. So I guess I'm going to buy general gauges and a general headlamp and build some brackets for it. But before I dive headfirst into this I want to know if anyone has had some experience with this conversion or a similar conversion and if they have any advice.
