Hi first time on thought i would say hello. Hello! Not sure where to post this one(pretty useless on forums) but i have a 94 rd330r ypvs. Nice little bike which ran spot on until it developed a fuel leak near the tap. I had it "professionally" repaired, and it leaked again. I tried a resin kit in the tank. That didnt work either. I decided to check out the professional repair (body filler on the bottom) I ground out the filler to reveal small rust holes. I tried Super Steel from halfords under advice £6. Worked perfect. It then flew through the test but now the tickover sticks at 5-6000 rpm. When cold no probs. When its warm and you first start it no probs. But after a co…

So I'm new here, been having issues with my bike for 2.5 weeks (no rides at all, feels like months ) and my parents said I should ask on a yamaha Forum. Anyway, I recently went out to get some petrol, and about 20m away from the station I lost all power and had to push it, I thought "Oh well, ran out of petrol", Filled up, keys in, started it... Except it wouldnt start, I tried choke on, choke off, neutral gear, 1st gear+clutch, everything, still no avail. It does start (after a lot of hard work) and If I dont slip the clutch to keep it at 7k or more it stops and doesnt start, even when I do this it's hugely jerky. Its not out of water, or 2 stroke oil, chain i…

Hi to one and all. I now have a Yamaha MT 03 had it about a year, really good fun on the mountain roads. Before that I had a Honda Hornet and before that Suzuki Freewind (hubby crashed that one). I just wanted to join a social bike forum, not sure if this is what this is, but I'm sure someone will let me know. Hubby has a Triumph Tiger. We are living in Bulgaria, came over here 4 and half years ago and just love it. Anyone out there been over here.

  6. I thought i would pass em on as they maybe useful too you 2 as well 1. Wear your glasses to make sure your partner is actually in the bed. 2. Set timer for 3 minutes, in case you doze off in the middle. 3. Set the mood with lighting. (Turn them ALL OFF!) 4. Make sure you put 911 on your speed dial before you begin. 5. Write partner's name on your hand in case you can't remember... 6. Use extra polygrip so your teeth don't end up under the bed. 7. Have Tylenol ready in case you actually complete the act.. 8. Make all the noise you want....the neighbors are deaf, too. 9. If it works, call everyone you know with the good news!…

Hi All, the WET battery on my 1995 Virago xv1100 has given up the ghost. Has anyone used or is using a GEL battery on the same age bike as mine? Does any body know if a GEL battery is suitable for my age bike (something about the charging rate). Regards Tony.

Greetings to all, I have recently purchased a 1982 xj550, which has only 4500 miles. It looks great and the previous owner says it ran very well. The problem seems to begin with the fuel petcock, the shaped hose( I assume is a vacum line) is missing so the petcok only flows in the prime position. The bike is difficult to start and then will only run at higher idle. It definitely seems to be a fuel issue. Has any one heard of a similar problem? What do you all think? Many heads are better than one. Also where can I find the missing hose and where does it attach. I am in general familiar with motorcycles but this is my first dealing with this specific type. Thanks for the h…

. If you are ever called a couch potato because you are not moving ... the reality is as follows: . 1: The earth is moving within an expanding universe at roughly sixty six billion miles per hour 2: The earth on the edge of the milky way galaxy rotates in galactic orbit at two million five hundred and eighty thousand miles per hour 3: The earth rotates around the sun at sixty six thousand miles per hour 4: The earth rotates at upon its own axis at 900 mph . Thus while sitting upon that couch you are actually travelling at .... Sixty six billion, two hundred and sixty four million, six thousand and nine hundred ... miles per hour . Thus it is not what is actual…

  15. I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use more relaxation in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on a Medical TV show, I have finally found a relaxation exercise that is simple and works. A Doctor proclaimed the way to achieve good relaxation is to finish all the things you have started. So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of vocka, a pockage of Prunglies , tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valum priscriptins, the res of the Chesesck…
