I was a regular at the Ducatisti forum, until my 748 caught fire and was sent to the scrapyard. I then bought an R6 and proudly joined this site, made some friends, and did a trip to Monza on it...diary available at........ www.freewebs.com/monza2008 but.....following the theft of the R6, I have bought a Honda CBR600 RR. I am trying to trace the first bike i owned,it was a black yammy rd50mx,i had it from new in 1982.The reg is VRA 803Y according to the dvla website it still exists so i wondered if anybody on here owns it or knows anything about it Cheers guys

I need to change the bars on the RXS and just wondered how you get the clutch side grip off without knacking it up...any ideas lads?

hi all,im new to the site, jus got meself an 04 plate aerox 50cc, just wondering if anyone could help me out, i need an engine diagram ( or a picture of an aerox engine without panels on bike ) because i honestly do not know where any of the hoses/pipes go to connect back to the carb, and i dont wanna connect the wrong ones and have the bike blow up on me.. lol, and a few other things i just cannott doo!! i have a new coolant hose/water pipe, and i do not have a Monkey where it goes ... also im only running an ol' leo vince RR exhaust could i just take off the standard airbox and put a nice air filter on there without any mods ?... all your help will be appreciated, as i…

Apparently, cruiser-wise there is nothing better than Honda VT Shadow 125 or Yamaha Dragstar XVS 125. The question is – which one to go for? They are so similar that me, with now experience whatsoever, cannot decide just on the basis of respective reviews. I am going to use it for commute (40 miles daily) on A-roads with occasional trips and round-town errands. I will probably end up getting raisers for steering bar as I am 6’5” (but light). I sat on a Dragstar just yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I expected although my hands were quite lower than shoulders, hence the thought of risers. Hi All, I removed the motor from the bike to paint the frame etc and rebuilt the bike, i had the carbs bead blasted, cleaned them out and replaced the pilot jet and float needles. I also replaced the inlet balance rubbers. On starting the bike it has developed a flat spot and only improves with the choke on, one side exhaust is running hot and the other a lot colder. i also replaced one exhaust for a better condition one. Would replacing main slide needle and jet help and also reed valves? Or should i strip the carbs again and check for blockages? The motor ran fine before which is also a bit confusing, any sugestions will be greatfully recieved. Thanks, Mick.

A few questions i really need help with, hopfully some of you motorbike lovers can help me,, 1. Where on earth does the coolant hose/ water pipe go ?! there is literally nowhere it CAN go on my bike :\ 2.How can i make my throttle more responsive? its got a nice bit of boost at higher revs, but before got a new cylinder kit ( 50cc parmakit) and piston kit, it used to run with the boost as soon as you pulled the throttle, now it takes time and takes ages for that boost to kick in... 3. How far /fast can i go to run my new stuff in, as above ^ ?... Iv been told about 300 miles not exceeding 30mph, but my fooken speedo doesnt work lol, iv been guessing going …

looking to get an r6 i have 3.5k to spend i'm interested in low insurance all pre 2004 are group 14 witch is a bonus when your 22. 2000-2003 Love the 2003 the most upto date without going to group 15. The only problem i can see is its the first edition to have fuel injection (was this a problem) are the earlier carb'd models a better ride? thanks in advance matt
