Ok so I have a 1977 Yamaha Dt 400... I'm looking to buy a manual for it, I found one but it says on the cover that it's for a Dt 400 (d) and I have been led to believe that mine is a Dt 400 mx?? The book still seems to be based on the 400cc engine and the monoshock... Question is will it work?? This is my frame incase anyone can tell what it is from the photo This is the cover of the manual

Hey guys So my RH indicators flashing faster than my left.. heres what i did. * Replaced Indicators altogether - RH side still Blinking faster * Intermittently when I use the Hazzard lights (both LH & RH flash in unison) it shorts my indicating system and i have to restart my bike to fix it. * If the Hazards don't short out both the LH & RH blink at the correct speed when using the hazards.. Any ideas???

Having joined the forum whilst trying to glean some info on running issues with my boys sr125, I have obviously read through a lot of postings. It turned out it was a problem with the cdi unit on my boys bike and a helluva lot of posts seem to involve faulty units. So, are these units better than points ignition (for the younger forumeers, points were an archaic form of achieving the spark at the correct time), or are they now showing to present their own problems. Bearing in mind a new set of points was about 2 quid and I have paid £40 on 2 occasions for a 20 year old cdi unit for his bike. Any thoughts

Going to be saying goodbye to my trusty wee Fazer 600 which I've thoroughly enjoyed throughout the even more satisfying 2 year restricted cc period (yeah, right) which is now over . I commute daily and use my bike when out visiting patients as part of my job. I really like the look of the TDM 900 as both a daily sommuter and occasional tourer. Was just keen to hear any thoughts on the bike as I'm unfamiliar with it and whether you'd recommend any accessories to enhance the experience ?? As always, cheers in advance

Riding home from work today behind some chump on a BMW who : 1. Didn't acknowledge a single driver for pulling in to let him past - and there were a few and 2. When I happened to end up sitting on his wing at the next set of traffic lights - I looked over to give a wee nod - ignorant git didn't even turn his head :madflame: What is up with some bikers ???? I know we can all have a bad day and would gladly kick everything in sight while on 2 wheels but I've passed so many bikers recently who are either legally blind and don't see me or must suspect I've killed their dog & slept with their wife - or is itt the other way round? Rant over ! Som…

I was wondering if it would be possible to use the bottom end of the standard sr250 engine, and take the top end, bore and piston from a sr400 engine? Knowledge would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Hi all New to the forum I'm looking at getting a YBR 125 as my next bike when I turn 17 in January. As a step up from my 50cc scooter! If anyone has got one. What are they like to live with? Also as I'm thinking of doing my full A1 licence. Would the YBR be capable of getting me and my gear over to next years Isle of Mann TT? Thanks Ash
