Lads & Ladesses, Just after some advice on bluetooth sets from anyone on the site familiar with them. I commute daily by bike and would aften make & receive calls on the bike through the course of the day too. I've had a Viper helmet which has bluetooth embedded but it wasn't the most reliable. Does anyone have any experience of good quality headsets ? That way I could talk the missus ALL the time ...... yeh! Cheers

Good Afternoon one and all. My 650 dragstar (not classic) has a rear wheel problem. I have only done 1500 miles since buying it in February this year and the spokes have started "loosening". I have tightened them and the wheel is still true, but I noticed that the holes in the hub have started to elongate. Does any one know where I can get a good condition hub, or wheel complete? I have trawled the internet to no avail. If I can't get one, is it possible for a wheel company to redrill the hub and fit larger gauge spokes? Any advice would be very welcome. Cheers Peter

I have realised I need some boots, but underestimated how expensive they are. Also all the the different types that are available. Initially I thought about some motocross style ones to match my bike and other gear, then I thought I need something more practical, so i thought about some normal Caterpillar/Timberland styler boots. I don't know what sort but I need some, I'm going to have to spend at least £100 to get a decent pair. Any advice/recommendations?

My speedo is knackered and if it can't be fixed I will have to get a new one. The problem is the speedo is digital and it had the mileage on it. How will this affect me when I insure the bike again or sell it?

Names Mark new to this forum, so firstly i would like to say hello to you all I own a 2004 TZR50 about 50 on the flat depending on the wind direction, fastest is 64 down hill still takes forever to pick up off lights and often bogs down. ive turned up the air mixture screw abit which helps reduce bog but still isnt very responsive. i dont want to change sprockets as this would lose my top end slightly. i was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap ways to make me go faster. I was thinking new reeds and air filter changes... thanks for reading (Y)

When I went to leave for work today I noticed that all of my fuel was in a puddle underneath my bike. I noticed that it is all coming from one of the pipes underneath my tank. I believe it is the overflow for my injectors but I could be wrong. I am curious what is wrong and how to fix it because it's very expensive and frustrating

I have just been pulled by three coppers for looking over my soldier whilst changing lanes. Apparently by doing this you are acting suspiciously. It was only this afternoon me and my friend was having a conversation about how inept the police are. Yesterday my friend witnessed some youths burgling a garden shed and stealing a lawnmower and a strimmer. Throughout the incident my friend phoned the police and told them, but not surprisingly to me, the youths got away with it. Anyway I got pulled for looking over my shoulder. Once I explained myself the copper realised he was wrong so started been aggressive. He then tried saying I was looking at him, so then I told the…

Recently been to my local bike shop Lagunas Maidstone and ordered a Leo Vince slip on exhaust and K n N airfilter . wow a sound difference and the Air filter has made a few ggs . All my other motor cycle mates have loud exhausts and made mine seem like an electric bike. however didnt want to void Warrenty so put the slip on ON , and its made my bike Bark. I ts my first bike and Im realy pleased with performance and looks although ive had a tail tidy fitted, the belly pan sprayed the same colour as bike, Reflectivewhite tapes on wheels. as soon as i can get either video or photo s uploaded I will , Ive not seen many XJ6 n s in Maidstone.

Hi all, quite new to the forum, although i have spent a lot of time reading various bike related topics on this forum, its my first time creating a thread so if its all wrong apoligies inadvance & would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction (iphone seems alot more fiddly to use than a laptop). Now for the problem im having - I have a '91 dtr 125 that smokes like a trooper when cold, i mean thick smoke, when warm the engine is mint, sounds nice, runs nice, fast and no smoke, just when its cold it smokes bad, id say from stone cold it starts 2/3 kicks with choke and throws out thick smoke for around 3 mins max, when i blip the throttle the s…

I am new at this. I have had a Yamaha 175cc dirt bike since I was 12 years old. Got it as a christmas present. It was my second motorcycle ever, my first was a Italian made Indian 50cc dirtbike. I am now 33 and wanting to fix the Yamaha up for my 11 year old boy. My father made it look like a dirt bike with a TT tank decals, stripped down look and knob tires. I am now researching the bike so I can figure out where to start in getting it to run. I can not find a number on the engine but it looks original. The number on the frame is CT1-082606 which tells me it was a CT175 Enduro? Is that right? Can anyone tell me what year it is? Seems like everywhere I look says something…
