When I go into 4th and 5th it feels like the clutch is slipping at high revs. If I drop the revs and it's fine. Hope somebody could help. Thanks in advance

I have a 2001 fazer 600. Just wanting to know what people expect to get from miles wise from a tank of fuel. Had it one week so far and I've covered about 200 miles by my estimate. Is this standard or should I expect more? Main reason I ask is that I plan on doing a tour in summer time and having for this bike for £600 with 24k miles on clock trying hard to find something wrong with it.

Hi Folks, well just got off the phone with a mate, he has a friend that wants to sell his 3 bikes, A Honda 750/4 1982 model a Kawasaki 750/4 Zephyr1992 model and a Kawasaki 750/4 1980 model. Anyone on here ever had one of these? Any thoughts on what they are like and a general "Are they worth bothering with" type thing, if you've owned one I would like to hear from you cos I have never had any of them and was just wondering if they are right dog's or worth having a fiddle with. Looks like my new year will start with 3 new bikes in the shed if the price is right and I can get SWMBO to agree to actually let go of the notes !!!

Ok you lot, what are your new year resolutions for 2015? Mine is to get the FJ running and looking like it should, it runs ok-ish but looks tired after being neglected for a few years, today I have the rear end off and the rust is about to be a thing of the past plus I have bought a few bit's and bob's for it so that it will at least have a bit of a sparkle. My neighbour told me that she was doing well with her new year resolution till I reminded her that it was only 4 days into the new year, have you ever seen someone's face droop after you have popped their balloon? Had to slink back into the garage to get away from the look she gave me! So what have you decided to d…

Driving home on Tuesday my last day at work until January, and it was daylight, my lights on, wearing my big hivis work jacket on top of my leathers, so I was visible, coming round the round about, this guy pulls in front of me, I had to slam on my breaks, bike goes sliding from under me as it was icy, and the guy starts speeding off before I got a chance to even see his reg plate, and not one person pulled over to see if I was okay, luckily the only problem was a snapped break lever, broken mirror and a blown fuse and shattered reg plate, and I walked away with bruising down my hip, legs and shoulder and ribs but it could've been worse, if I had caused someone to come of…

Anyone up to anything different for Christmas? What's on your wish list? I am finishing work on 19th December and not going back until 5th January. If I am on the "nice" list I am looking to see if Santa brings me some guitar stuff. Order of organic meats done - to be collected 6am on 24th. Decorations up today (hopefully). Just a couple of bits left to buy. Christmas eve lunch booked overlooking the river and narrow boat moorings. Whats everyone else up to?

Ok just a query, did anyone know about the paper drivers licence being scrapped? Just read this in one of Drewpys posts, (actually I wandered through the site and found this by accident,) and thought you all might like to know about it. Do you know where the paper part of your driving licence is? Well, soon it won’t matter as the DVLA has now set a date for their abolition. From June 8 2015, the paper counterpart licences will no longer be valid and the authorities will cease to issue any more. The counterpart is currently used to keep a record of motoring convictions such as speeding. When you’re required to provide proof of licence, such as on track days, b…
