So then chaps - a 20mm bar riser kit has arrived through the post today. I find on long jaunts the Street Triple puts a little too much pressure on my wrists. I know for a fact that the kit will be simple to install, but I was wondering if someone could help me out? I appreciate how silly that probably sounds but the last thing I want to do is get into a pickle. As a result, I was wondering if anyone who's local to me would be happy for me to swing round and work on this together? I will naturally provide drink or cash as a gesture of thanks! All the necessary parts arrived with the kit and have been reliably informed by others with this installed that cab…

Hello, Guys I'm a bit stuck, I have a 2009 Yamaha XVS950 midnight star, The problem I have is my headlight and highbeam lights seem to just stopped working. The bulb and the fuses are fine, flicking between high and low beams doesnt seem to do anything neither does the "flash" trigger There seems to be a good connection between the switch and the headlight.. but the power sufficient power doesnt seem to be getting through from after the from after the fuse box to the light. I've had the tank up and the one connection i can find under there is secure,, Is there a headlight relay somewhere? Does anyone have a circuit diagram? Any help or ideas would be great…

Well the snow that they have been taking about has finally arrived here in the south, I know it wasn't much but there is talk of more in the next day or so, I am glad that I managed to get out for a couple of hours yesterday, it was cold but a stop at a biker friendly cafe for ham egg and chips with a hot cup of tea soon warmed me up.

After being away from the Forum for a while I usually press the "View New Content" button to see whats been happening in a summary version. But in the last few weeks it keeps telling me there is none ! Now either you lot have all left the country or the Forum/my computer has a problem. ( And if you have left the country thankyou for written instructions leaving all your motorcycles to me ! Promise I will find good homes for them & send the proceeds of sales onto you in a timely manner) Any ideas ? I dont think I have changed anything/pressed any buttons I shouldnt. ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I have a 2001 fazer 600. Just wanting to know what people expect to get from miles wise from a tank of fuel. Had it one week so far and I've covered about 200 miles by my estimate. Is this standard or should I expect more? Main reason I ask is that I plan on doing a tour in summer time and having for this bike for £600 with 24k miles on clock trying hard to find something wrong with it.

Hi Folks, well just got off the phone with a mate, he has a friend that wants to sell his 3 bikes, A Honda 750/4 1982 model a Kawasaki 750/4 Zephyr1992 model and a Kawasaki 750/4 1980 model. Anyone on here ever had one of these? Any thoughts on what they are like and a general "Are they worth bothering with" type thing, if you've owned one I would like to hear from you cos I have never had any of them and was just wondering if they are right dog's or worth having a fiddle with. Looks like my new year will start with 3 new bikes in the shed if the price is right and I can get SWMBO to agree to actually let go of the notes !!!

Ok you lot, what are your new year resolutions for 2015? Mine is to get the FJ running and looking like it should, it runs ok-ish but looks tired after being neglected for a few years, today I have the rear end off and the rust is about to be a thing of the past plus I have bought a few bit's and bob's for it so that it will at least have a bit of a sparkle. My neighbour told me that she was doing well with her new year resolution till I reminded her that it was only 4 days into the new year, have you ever seen someone's face droop after you have popped their balloon? Had to slink back into the garage to get away from the look she gave me! So what have you decided to d…
