  1. Ok just a query, did anyone know about the paper drivers licence being scrapped? Just read this in one of Drewpys posts, (actually I wandered through the site and found this by accident,) and thought you all might like to know about it. Do you know where the paper part of your driving licence is? Well, soon it won’t matter as the DVLA has now set a date for their abolition. From June 8 2015, the paper counterpart licences will no longer be valid and the authorities will cease to issue any more. The counterpart is currently used to keep a record of motoring convictions such as speeding. When you’re required to provide proof of licence, such as on track days, b…

Ok all quick question, is there such a thing as actual petrol (GAS) proof paint? I only ask as I have just painted my crash bars a (to me) nice red colour so they stand out and when messing with the carbs the last few weeks I managed to get fuel all over the blasted things, 10 minutes later I have bare metal and great big lumps of paint rolling off the bars, must add that I did wipe the petrol off as soon as I got it on them so not just left there for it to work it's magic! I also coated them with a "fuel proof" lacquer which I had left over from the XJ build, my fuel tank top is regularly dotted with fuel when I fill up and I just wipe it down with a paper towel and it's…

HI guys, Does anyone know of a company, or an individual who can re-wind my stator for improved output? the Yamaha WR400 99' only has a 55w stator, i need about 80 to run my indicators and dash and lights all together. There is the option to upgrade to a 2nd hand stator off a newer wr, but they are close to £200.....id rather spend a lot less haha Thanks Ross.

Hey all. I've got my mod 2 test on Tuesday 2nd Dec and starting to get a little nervous if I'm honest. The test is being done on a Gladius 650cc with abs, the thing is that I've not been on the road since my CBT and that was on a Honda 125cc and they are really different esp when it comes to the gears. Is there any advise that could be given with regards to not making a total hash of the test? Thanks, Rafen.

Hi Folks Just found this on MCN's website. http://igg.me/at/motogroom/x A new start-up company is seeking funding for a helmet dryer and it looks really useful. Drying time after a full wash is 3 hours (as opposed to 3 days whenever I do it!) so I reckon it's worth £39 to get it going? Oh, and get a dryer as well, obviously!

Let me explain... Guitarists dont wanna share knowledge, or ideas or licks. They think somethin up, they wanna keep it to themselves Drummers are the opposite, come up with something cool its available for everyone to use! Bikers are the same it seems! I was a bit intimidated by bikers at first because I knew nothing and was out if my comfort zone but you lot in here are so keen to share experience and knowledge. Good on ya! Im a drummer too

hey guys, Im gonna do my DAS in the spring, I really liked the place I did my CBT but the full 3 day training is £750. Any ideas if this is a good price? It includes test fees Ive been looking online at it seems a bit high, but then again if the training from there is at a higher standard I think its worth it. Ive my own 125, and ride it often and have lots of road experience, been driving bands on tours for ten years. Some places offer 2 day courses for around £450. I dont wanna pay way too much but I dont want shit instructers either ya know? Im reluctant to name the place incase i piss anyone off !

Well the DVSA figures show in year 2013/14 only 353 17 year olds sat the A1 module, In 2012/13 the figure was 3294 . A drop of 90% ,,,, so I see Motorcycling being like the dinasaurs in 20 years time,,
