Now, I've not been myself, but I understand a few of you liked the place and were sad at it closing So, in case you've not heard... check: http://www.loomies.co.uk/ One day, I may take the ride down for a visit.

hey guys, Im gonna do my DAS in the spring, I really liked the place I did my CBT but the full 3 day training is £750. Any ideas if this is a good price? It includes test fees Ive been looking online at it seems a bit high, but then again if the training from there is at a higher standard I think its worth it. Ive my own 125, and ride it often and have lots of road experience, been driving bands on tours for ten years. Some places offer 2 day courses for around £450. I dont wanna pay way too much but I dont want shit instructers either ya know? Im reluctant to name the place incase i piss anyone off !

Ok boys and girls have a question for you. I bought a spare tank for the FJ (thanks foamy) good tank and all but it has been lined (I think) at some time with one of those liquid sealer's to stop the tank leaking or even to protect it from rusting inside, well anyway the problem is that the stuff has started to come off inside and in fact there is a great big lump of stuff rattling around inside about the size of a packet of fags or bigger, is there any way to melt this stuff or otherwise get it softened so I can get it out of the tank? I don't know what the guy used to seal the tank but was thinking if petrol don't melt it what does? Any advice greatfully received as I'm…

As some of you might know Foamy sold me his fairing set off of his FJ, all fine but I forgot to ask for a key to fit the fuel tank (DOH!) anyhow I really needed to get the cap off so I can get it painted and foams has been busy so I decided to try picking the lock. I bought, last year, a set of lock picks just for the fun of it, really wanted to see if it was possible to actually pick a lock and if so how long it would take, well long story short after about 5 minutes I had the lock off and tank is ready for painting, so if you buy an old bike or part that has a lock on it and you need to get it open buy one of these from Amazon Believe it or not it's quite legal to own…

This is another on line petition. It does not involve a motorcyclist however, we are more at risk when riding to injurys caused by the stupidity of others. Please have a read and, if you would like to support it, take a few minutes to sign it. http://www.change.org/p/david-cameron-mp-introduce-a-new-offence-of-causing-serious-injury-by-careless-driving-to-the-law Many thanks.

Taken from a MAG email this morning , this twat should rot in jail forever, anyone that leaves any human in that situation should never be allowed out in public again! You may have heard about the death of Jade Clark, a 16-year-old who was killed when she was hit by Brian Hampton, on the A31 while on her moped travelling to work in February 2013. Banned for drink-driving at the time, Hampton not only didn’t stop, but he then attempted to cover up his involvement by having his car repaired and lying to his family. He was sentenced to six years in prison – two for causing Jade’s death by careless driving and four years for perverting the course of justice. He has …

Just wondering. Is there anyway you can make the YBR go faster just to give it that little bit more power so it can go a steady 70mph all the time. I'm just wondering because I love the YBR 125 I had 2 of them because I find them a really reliable bike but would like that little bit more power any ideas.

Yesterday was such a nice day I had to down tools and go for a ride. A new Asda has just opened a couple of miles from me and as I needed a few things I thought I would check it out, anyway when I got there after about a 30 mile ride I found it had an underground car park, so there I am riding around looking for somewhere to park when I saw 3 guys collecting trollies who just stopped and stared at me with stange looks on their faces, when I parked they where still there staring, like most bikers I get a few people looking at me as I ride past but this was very very stange.

My housemate is also a biker, and was riding home when a range rover pulled out of a junction into her path. What happened: We'd been at a gym class [yoga...] and she left an hour before me as I was continuing on. On my route home, I see a police car with a bike next to it. And my first thought was "That looks like [my housemate]'s bike..." I get home, and sure enough, she wasn't home yet. I gunned it back to the police car [well, keeping to the speed limit...], jumped off the bike once I spotted it was her bike, with the first words out my mouth being "Is she OK?!" to the police officer still on the scene. Her bike was up on a recovery truck, with the fron…

Was riding the XT500 yesterday..went passed a guy on a scooter. When I pulled into my driveway I noticed he had pulled in behind me. He started raving about my XT and how he used to own an XL500. Then I opened the garage and he saw the other bikes and his jaw dropped. Spent about an hour in my garage taking pics and chatting. Now he wants to bring a friend over to come see them. He even reckoned I should charge people to come look. Naturally he asked if any for sale..I said not at the moment..garage not full enough. Great feeling..never had that with any new bikes. Chuffed with this collection..they all start easy..electrics all working, and are running nicely. Once t…
