  1. I do the same, and had this problem a while ago. Make sure that on the left side 'Forums' and 'New Since My Last Visit' are both checked, with nothing in the 'Other' column checked.
  2. Around town (30mph limit) 1st and 2nd will do, 3rd at the most so as Tasky says 4th at 37mph means you are changing up far too soon. The 650 revs up to around 6500 rpm with maximum torque around 3000 rpm so you need to be adjusting you changes to suit, its not the same as the bigger engine stars such as the 950 which revs to around 5600 rpm
  3. Mine has a distinct vibrate at a certain revs in each gear, think they all do it
  4. It may be more of a preparation problem than the actual paint, what's the surface you are applying it to? Is it bare metal or chrome? Are you using a primer first?

    rs200 fuel

Yes you can put normal unleaded in it, it will have been running on unleaded since unleaded is all you can get, you can put the Super unleaded in if you want but that's your choice.
  6. The Oxfam video is funny apart from the bit with the Staffies, they get bad enough press as it is.
  7. The original RS 200 had a single seat and a bolt on pillion seat or top box that you could swap around, the later ones had a full size seat. I would say they are very rare and I bet a lot of the pillion ones disappeared over the years, as Foamy says if you have the base best bet would be to get a new one made on it.

    Your thoughts

Are so the truth comes out, Betty is just a 125 and you have been telling us its a 650 :hah: :hah:
  9. Seen this at the weekend and thought of you..... http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/cheeky-santa-mankini-festive-adult-outfit-282525
  10. I think by "Barge Plate" He/She means the metal plate under the engine to stop the engine getting damaged as its an off roader.
  11. 1 X Fender Stratocaster, 1 x cheapo acoustic from MusicYo (they didn't last long) plays ok though, and Yamaha Keyboard :-)
  12. I use the kill switch all the time on my draggy, but that's because its a fiddle to reach where the key is, on my old XJ600 the key was between the clocks so hardly ever used the kill switch. MOT tends to be if something is fitted it should work, so if you take it off then it should be fine.
  13. Tin Foil, Duct tape and cable ties allowed me to carry on with our holiday in the motorhome when the downpipe split from the silencer, 500 plus miles before I got it welded.
  14. Even if the area you are in has high speed connections, your ISP can throttle back the speed you actually get. Also the internet is only as fast as the slowest part you are connecting through. Very few devices get full speed through WiFi, to get the best speed you need to use a cable to the router.
  15. Weren't there something like that in one of the James Bond films
  16. Personally I think this is the normal behaviour of a bike, its like white lines seem to be using thicker paint than when I was younger, or I am just noticing the twitch more, although I must say that its less noticeable on my Dragstar than it used to be on the XJ600 Look ahead and try to avoid the lines and joins in the road.

  18. Usually motorcycle fuel gauge = open filler cap and look inside tank.
  19. Got my insurance renewal though for my works van with 4 free road tax disc holders......
  20. Gave up doing wheelies when I was younger as it got expensive snapping chains in the middle of nowhere.
  21. If I am looking for accessories or parts I will do the research on line but try to buy from my local shop - (World of Bikes In Corby)
  22. Hi Hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this. I have just got a set of new saddle bags so my old ones (18 months) are up for grabs as they were too small for what I needed. They are leather look with a chrome stud trim, they are in good condition a bit of light surface rust on some of the studs. They would need to be collected from Market Harborough If you pm me your email I have a couple of pictures I can send. Don't want anything for them, just thought I would offer them here before I take them down the charity shop.
  23. ACF50 is worth using, I got two tins three years ago and am still only half way through the first one, a little goes a long way.
