  8. Do you RAF woofters not have to do a CFT then? (combat fitness test) Or is part of your basic training just playing flight simulator for 3 hours a day?

  9. Hah, yeah me and Bacchus as old mates now. I think I joined the back of the queue as the front was leaving Ace The little group of bikes I was in got split from the pack in London somewhere, and none of us knew where we were going! Ended up going down the M20 to Ashford and entered Hastings via Rye. The route we took is in my sig. Hastings was bonkers. Never seen anything like it. Something like 30,000 bikes in one day, according to the police estimates.

  13. Everyone has to learn the lessons. Some learn from others' experiences. Others learn from their own. Some learn before it kills them, others learn just after..

  14. At the risk of tempting fate. Rode the TS to work this morning. Took about a mile to have a clear out and then started to rev free all the way through the rev range. Pushed it to an indicated 70 and wasn't close to the start of the red line. Only 15 miles so far but I have to shoot across town in a bit so will get around 45 miles on it today by the time I get home later. Assuming it doesn't blow up on me. I will check the plug once at home to see how it did. Still needs a little work on the tickover so may tinker with the pilot screw a bit. Pretty happy with it though - at the moment.
