Hi y'all, I am Andreas from berlin. I ride 2strokes. Started with a DS5E and followed some Suzuki (T500, T250, GT185, T350) of which I still have the Gt and the 350... So now I could not resist an offer and will fix a RS125 from 81. ...probably for my girlfriend.. And as this is the space to just say Hi I leave it as that and refer to the help section where I posted a request for help on data sheets for the RS.. Anybody else from Berlin here?? Greets!

Hi guys- thanks for allowing me to join your club. I go by the name of curtie o and currently have a very original 1991 Yamaha DT200R. The old girl is certainly in need of some tlc and the coastal air of South Africa has taken a toll on her metal bits over the years but she’s sweet and with a rebuild planned, should be looking as good as new next year. Hopefully I may be able to pick like minded people and owners of these classic bikes for future tips on restoration and for acquiring the much sought after , now discontinued Yamaha original parts or very good OEM parts.

Hey all Just a quick hello from a late 30 year old (ok ok 40 next October) returning to biking. Used to run a bored out scrambler at aged 16, onto a TZR125 at 17-18 then got into cars and then never got back to bikes. Recently, lockdown blues, decded on a new hobby this time with the fiance - we passed out CBT 2 weeks ago and now sit proud re-learning how to drive (cars have given us habits!) I have an XVS 125 Dragstar and she has a newer CB125F with mod cons. They aren't the 2 strokes of my day, but nevertheless fast enough for now. Nice to see some youtube videos recorded around my home town of Rugby/Leamington/Daventry area and now nort…

Is there a specific place here to request technological help? I may be getting on a bit, but I'm pretty good with technology, but things like getting my Cardo, Gopro, Rider 550 & phone all working together is a little beyond me. Is there anyone (preferably in West Yorkshire) that is a wiz with these things?

HI...I am an aviation type... Mostly Air Traffic Control. Did some Airfield Management @ DFW Intl which came in handy for the next phase...Contractor Airfield and Air Traffic Control Management in Afghanistan and Iraq. 2012 to 2017. Then had a contract to review contracts as an Aviation Subject Matter Expert for the Army @ Rock Island Arsenal, IL. Not as much fun as the Mid East. Going to either AFG or IRQ one passes through Dubai. Crazy place...loved it -have about 6 months total in Dubai. Probably one of the few that has time in Viet Nam, IRQ, and AFG. Tons of experiences...but like most the telling of them tends to bore most people. Only grandchild is in Japan (son in …

Hey guys, Just saying hello... Name: Paul, but I go by Snakebite. Bike: YZF1000R Thunderace. Biker Status: Returning biker (2 years on the 5th of January) (now fully legal!) Mechanical Status: Competent Amateur. Skill Level: Still Alive and haven't dropped it yet... I never know what to write in these things. I want to do more of my own mechanicals, but without a garage, the Ace being my primary mode of transport and my 'drive' being composed of tailings, it's not easy. Our lass and me are looking for a house to buy at the moment, so I'm hopeful for a decent garage soon! Theoretically, I'm capable of doing a complete strip do…

Hi Guys, Just signed up today, having just got my second Yamaha ever, since owning a brand new RD250B back in 1975. Ooops, giving my age away there. Aw, sod it, who cares. Just imported a Yam XS650 from a mate in Oz. It's a Street Scrambler custom build with a rephased motor with a 750 big bore kit. The bike was totally mint when in Oz but sadly the three month (yes, 3 months!!) sea voyage has taken its toll on the bike, not to mention some dimwit had the brainwave of strapping the bike down in the contained with a strap over the newly painred tank, which now sports a dent right across the top. Anyway, the bike still looks ace and I'm looking forward to regis…

Hi All, I have a starter relay issue and was hunting around for a replacement. I looked on eBay and there were plenty of options for around £15, anyway It came yesterday and I noticed that the positive and negative connections were on different sides to the original. I have messed around trying various different combinations but with no success. I have also noticed that anything post 2006 For a oem replacement part cost around £70 But pre 2006 it’s £15. ????? Any help or information would be great as I’m a little confused on this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
